Antoni Gaudi = Genius. I couldn't get over how long the construction has taken and the enormity of it all. Can't wait for your Park Guell shots. I'm gonna miss this travel adventure Norris.

Wow! I'll be on the Emerald on Nov. 14th with a stop at Princess Cays. I cannot wait. It's been 6 years since I've been to this port. Looks amazing. Thank you for the postings.

Good morning Norris,
All I can say is.....bring it on!!! Can't wait to re-visit Barcelona and all it had to offer via your adventures. The tapas and the sangria were pretty darn good too!.

Norris,
I'm boarding the Emerald in less than 2 weeks!!! and I really appreciate seeing all the photos of the ship, as I have not been on her since 2009. Thank you again. Now, on to Barcelona.

Beautiful pictures. I too love to take shots of the back alleys; windows & flower boxes. This installment is so excellent.

Norris: Your photos & narratives of Florence were wonderful. Thank you for the street scenes & Tuscan drive-bys, as well. I really appreciate all your efforts. Thank you.

Norris: I visited Cinque Terre in 2013 by way of the port of La Spezia, Italy. We did 3 villages via the train, but too much to see in such little time. I loved riding the train. I'm anxious to see & hear what you thought of your day in Cinque Terre.

Just finished up my morning coffee Norris and your latest installments. Wonderful photos. Love that big smile on Carol's face while enjoying her coffee & watching the world walk by. I, too, love to stop and take in the city vibe while enjoying a cappuccino/cocktail. I can't wait to see your lunch photos.

Norris: I remember that gelato shop.....yum yum. Hubby & I talk about returning to Florence for a land trip with a few days by train to Venice. In 2013, we toured Florence with Rome in Limo - it was a long & exhausting day. Your pictures are fantastic. I loved seeing the Tuscan countryside.

Glad to hear about your Emerald experiences. We sail on Nov. 14th, our 2nd time on this ship with the first being in 2009. We also have an inside cabin. Keeping my fingers crossed for nice weather. Oh and btw, welcome back to reality.

Good morning. Great photos of this "compact" site. I visited Pompeii 2 years ago, which I found fascinating, but too large with not enough time to truly take in the ruins & the history. I look forward to your writings & your photos and I find myself checking this thread several times a day. Can you give me a "teaser" pic of Florence.....I'm like the kids...."are we there yet...."

I love this review. Hubby & I will sail on the Emerald (our 2nd time on this ship) on Nov 14, 2015. I especially loved your Pantheon photos shot from inside & looking out to the square.
Fantastico !! Can't wait for Florence.

I'm sailing on the 2/1/14 Carnival Breeze and I checked this morning and just now. The website is telling me that there is nothing available.....hmmmm.....What is up with that??? Loved the Obamacare website reference!!!

Florence is so wonderful. I did indeed rub that boar's nose, so I will certainly be back!! Your photos of the Duomo were awesome. I am just re-living Florence through your pictures. Our RIL group also did not have time to cross the Ponte Vecchio & browse the shops, but that will have to wait for another time. I definitely want to return to Florence and spend a land vacation there to see all the museums and tour Tuscany. There just is so much to see in Florence and the surrounding area. Your review is wonderful, by the way.
