a beverage package was mentioned - we are booked on a rotterdam cruise in october - and i can't find anywhere on the site any information on beverage packages.  does anyone know if they are available on all HAL ships?  thanks for any information

yeah, i'm sure you will do that (that's meant to be sarcastic)

it never ceases to amaze me the cheap people who cruise - they spend thousands of dollars - and then "do their own tipping"

most decent people do as the ship asks - the tips go on your credit card, and then is shared amongst the staff - as it should be - you know this when you sign on to a cruise -

the same decent people also give in cash something extra to their waiters, cabin people - and anyone else who has been nice to them

go to the main desk - they will give you some nice envelopes in which you can put something extra in

we too are going to dobrovnik in the fall - we almost always take tours from the country tours- never from the ship - they're too expensive - i wish i could help on this but am looking forward to replies from people who have been there and see what tour company they used - and how good they were

we just booked this cruise - and i have tried to see - and not found - anyone sailing on this cruise

i have been in touch with gti of israel concerning tours in ashdod and haifa - i think we will go with them - the reviews are great

We'll soon be visiting Half Moon Cay which we last visited in 2008 before the construction of the bar and cabanas and all. In 2008 we had a clamshell which gave us a place to get in out of the sun and a place to keep our towels, etc. I just saw the picture that RetiredMustang posted showing Half Moon Cay with all those beach chairs lined up in front of the clamshells. I remember HMC as being absolutely beautiful but not at all crowded with beach chairs.

 

After seeing all the empty beach chairs with clamshells in the back row I'm wondering if I should cancel the clamshell we ordered.

 

Can I get some opinions from HA cruisers who have visited recently? I think we are the only ship in port on March 13th.

save your money - they are hot and stifling - there are so many chairs and shady spots -
