  1. The way I see it...you are wearing two neutrals.

So you should be able to have a lot of fun with your DH's outfit. Assuming your DH has a black suit...

I would start with his tie. Find a tie that includes some golden colors and if not black, then a dark, dark color that is close enough, and also some other colors...like in a paisley tie...and pick up one of the other colors in the tie for his shirt.

For instance...an all neutrals kind of palette might start from a tie like this one:

Pick up on the lovely gray color in the tie for the shirt.

Then you both will be in a kind of sophisticated all neutral kind of look.

I wouldn't have the gold/black be too major a color in the tie...as that would look a bit too matchy and less coordinated.

You could go gold toned...depending on your DH's coloring...and go into a butterscotch/topaz kind of direction like this:

And the shirt could be anywhere from a deep russet kind of color through topaz through some of the warm taupes/tan color in the tie...

If you could find a design with something like a warm reddish burgundy...that seems harmonious to my mind as well.

Anyway...I think I made my point. Treat yourself like a neutral and play with introducing a new color or another neutral (besides white) that looks good on your DH.

My DH looks fab in all Autumn colors so I would be going for mustard, butterscotch, rust, russet, burgundy, maybe a chocolate brown?, a warm khaki, a deep tan, a warm charcoal gray, maybe cream?, maybe butter?...

    PLAY. Have fun with it.

Hope you get a great picture!

Thank you Anita! I love the idea of the fall colors and picking out the tie first! :D

  2. It wasn't my intention to hurt any feelings. My dad, brother, etc. hate it when myself or my mother try to tell them what to wear. Your hubs might be different. I would be extremely offended, but I am neither a man, nor your man. [emoji6]

It wasn't your comment that got me. But yes my hubs likes for me to help him because he has no clue but wants to look nice. He dresses in dress pants and dress shirts for his job and i also help him with that because when he does choose his own...well lets just say sometimes i think he is color blind...lol

  3. Wow...i'm pretty much sorry i asked....:( why do people have to be so hateful! Thank you to the ones that gave me answers without being that way. Sorry i didn't explain why i was asking the question...didn't know i had to!! Have a good day!!

  4. I have an embarrassing question....we are booked in a regular balcony cabin and as a person of size am i going to have any problem using the toilet? Are bathrooms in the spa any different?? or the public restrooms?? I have been on a cruise once and don't really remember having problems but since then i have had some issues with knees and other things and have gained weight since. :o

  5. It worked out very well, I ended up putting it with my checked luggage and it arrived with my other checked luggage just fine. Kept it in my room when not in use and nothing was said. I also did the same at the end of the cruise, put it out with my other luggage and it was sitting with my other bag when I got off the ship.

    Awesome!! Thanks for the response!

  6. Sorry for bringing up a old question, but my cruise is next weekend and I'm still contemplating taking my chair and was wondering if anyone has done this and if so, do you recommend carrying it on or putting it with checked luggage? I thought I had read somewhere else that they don't allow this anymore? Also attached is a picture since the link is no longer good.

It would only be out on my balcony when I'm using it and would be folded up in my room when not in use.

Again, Thanks for any advice in advance!

Just wondering how this worked out??

  8. Here are my toes last year on a cruise. Nailpolish was very deep red with sparkles, even though in this photo the sparkles don't show up too well. Also on each big toe....I had a Rhinestone on the top corner on them.

Very pretty!! Love the rhinestone idea! Can't decide what i want for my pedi before cruise in January so that gives me an idea!! I also love your sandals...can you tell me where you got them??

Check out their flip flops, I have 2 pair and they are true to size and very comfy. I get compliments all the time from people at my work on how well my clothing and accessories match:). I'm not sure that you nice folks back east have heard of "Sam Moon", they are HUGE in Texas......check them out here:

  10. I was at Walmart today and found a cute Nautical tote bag for only

.88 cents. Yup, less than a buck. I got a navy blue nautical print but

they also had a white one with a beach flip-flop and a blue one with a little crab..

There were a few other prints and colors as well.

It was nothing fancy, just a canvas tote that I plan on using for a pool bag on the ship.

I found it in the section with the handbags and tote bags.

Here is a pic of the one with the beach shoe. Could not find a pic of the nautical print.

  11. Yes' date=' I am also a "Sherrie Lynn" and the lady that ask the question is "Lynne". Just to make things a little more fun. [/b']

Just wondering, are you from the South by any chance? Reason being, most Southern ladies are usually called by both given names.;):):D And I will say it before someone else does, sadly the same thing goes for a lot of Southern gentlemen, such as Billy Bob!:D

Lets get really confused!! I am Sherrie Lynn too!! :D
