What we did instead of sleeping overnight in Manhattan we booked a room at the Foxwoods MGM GRand Casino in Connecticut. It was really inexpensive, the food was great, the room fantastic. It's only about 1.5 - 2 hour drive into Manhattan. You have until 4pm to board. We left the Foxwoods about 10am and arrived in Manhattan around noon. We could not have made a better choice. And we had fun at the casino! Go to Foxwoods MGM Grand Connecticut website. I really recommend it. It was a fun precurser to the cruise.

We sailed from Manhattan last year and decided to park at the port. We have a Jaguar so we needed a safe secure place. We could actually see our car on the dock from our stateroom! It was hassle free, safe and secure and worth every penny. Especially when we returned tired and our car was right there when we disembarked.
