My family and I cruised on this ship when it was the Dolphin "OceanBreeze". I think it was back in 1995 or 1996 and we didn't have a great experience cruising on her. The ship just wasn't up to par to the cruise ships that we had sailed before. Dolphin Cruise Lines didn't seem to take a great amount of care of this ship back then.

Carnival "Festivale" - back in 1987, I was about 8 years old. I don't remember the exact itinerary but it was likely a 7 night Southern or Eastern Caribbean cruise. It was probably Southern because if I remember correctly we went out of San Juan.

To be honest, the worst cruise I've ever taken was on the Dolphin "Oceanbreeze". I was about 12 or so at the time. I don't remember much about the inside of the ship (except that it was pretty bad), but I remember how much my family and I would make fun of the ship once it was over. :p We really didn't know much about the Dolphin Cruise Line before we went. We had booked the cruise through a local travel agent. I remember we sailed out of Aruba, which was a very windy place! I think we had just been used to the quality of the cruise lines that we had cruised with before that when we sailed on the Oceanbreeze we were disappointed. I also remember that the blue paint that was on the hull of the ship was flaking off and appeared faded. It seemed that the ship was somewhat neglected. This was in 1995.

I know this is an old thread, but the Festivale was my very first cruise (back in 1987). I think it might have been on a Southern Caribbean itinerary. I was only about 8 years old so I don't remember much about the ship. I do still own a picture of myself and my family that Carnival took outside of the ship. :)
