I stayed in room 13258 on a LA to Miami cruise this last January. We were directly above the Cavern Club, and the Beatles shows were heard in the cabin. Also heard the band on the pool deck whenever they were playing. That being said, the cabin was great.
Hi. Just checking as we are 238 not 258. You heard the cavern from 5 floors below you? and the pool deck 3 above? oh.

Hello!! We are looking to book a Canada cruise this fall. They are offering us Cabin 13238. Has anyone sailed in this cabin before? If so, could you please give feedback on pros and cons? Also is it quiet? Thank you!!

Hello! We are looking at booking the Connie for a transatlantic. We are trying to determine which side of the boat we should book--port or starboard rooms-- in order to have the best view of each port we enter. Has anyone cruised on a transatlantic from Rome and which cabin were you in and what views did you have?
Thank you!!!

Hi All!!
I really enjoyed reading your "blog" here as we are leaving in two weeks on the cloud.
I did post a topic with these questions and hoping you may be able to answer them! Thank you!!!
1) what items did you pack you were really happy you did, wish you had left home, and those items you wish you had taken with you?
2) How many thermals are a good number? Socks?
3) Did you pack your own jackets or just go with the parka provided? Parka provided--did you go up one size or keep to your normal size?
4) I read in the paperwork sent to us--dinner was men in jackets and ties? Is this correct?
Thank you!!

Hi!!
I didn't see a roll call for the Cloud departing in two weeks on the 8th. Anyone else on these boards taking this cruise as well?

Happy Friday! For those who have been on this cruise- how far off the coast is the boat? Are you able to enjoy the fall colors while cruising port to port?

We have never been on the ship to the Caribbean. I am assuming it is going to be warm? I ask bc all ship I have been on have been a tad cold inside.

Hi all!!
We will be cruising in October and having quite a dilemma on what to pack.. Will we be able to wear short sleeve attire and shorts inside the ship or do they keep it pretty cool? I know the weather in the ports will be in the 50-60's, so unsure whether to just pack cold weather attire or throw in some warm weather for inside?
Thank you!

How did you set this up? This sounds so much fun!
We did the Vigeland sculpture park then had a local guy pick us up to go fishing back in the fjords. It was so cool and so fun I highly recommend itSent from my iPhone using Forums

Thank you to all those so far that have responded. We have been extensively researching these ports for the last 6 months. As most of you know who are on these boards, you can be looking through threads for hours even days to get information. So I wanted to touch base with everyone trying to garner from those who have been there, what 1 or 2 things are a must to see before we go back and make the final decisions. Ease of getting to the attractions are also a concern. Thank you thank you!!!
Plus there might be some off the path place that someone has found and no one has talked about it. (thank you Trosebery!!!!)

Hi everyone!!!!!
Cruising on Princess to the Baltics next month, We decided the only stop we would get a sponsored tour was St Petersburg.
We decided we would try and spend time at one or two attractions on our own fro the rest of the ports. From everyone's experiences, which attraction in each port, would you highly recommend seeing? Ease of getting to the attraction? The ports are: Copenhagen, Oslo, Tailinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Warnemunde.
Thank you for all your help and suggestions!!!

Hello All!
Has anyone cruised on Anthem in Cabin 9698? I have searched the threads and googled the cabin with no luck.
Is it a good cabin? Any issues with noise, obstruction, smoke, etc? Opinions welcome!!
Thank you so much!
Happy Cruising!!!:)

Thank you to everyone is who has responded so far!!! You guys are awesome!
There were some threads that stated laundry across from the room, So good to hear this is no longer the case! Totally believe in the wash basin! Ear plugs are my friends =)
Sorry--sailing from New York end of month.

Hello All!!!
We are cruising the end of the month and first time on Norwegian.
Just a few questions if anyone can answer, that would be awesome!
1) We are in Cabin 9088-I understand that the laundry room is directly across. Has anyone in the past been across from a laundry room? If so, how loud can it get? A lot of traffic in and out? Open all hours? I am a very light sleeper and concerned about the possible noise.
2) Does the beverage package carry over to the private island?
3) Do they normally have spa deals during port days?
4) Favorite thing about the Gem?
5) We had an email stating we could upgrade to a mini suite--anyone ever done it? Offer accepted? Are the minis on the 9th deck? I understand 10th deck is below some pretty loud spaces. True?
6) Parking for the Gem---any suggestions besides the pier?
Thank you!!!!
Happy Cruising!!

Hello! We will be going on the Solstice from Auckland to Sydney. We have gotten a couple tours at the ports. However, there are a few we haven't reserved. Are there tours once we dock? For example, when we get to Akaroa, will we find tours on the dock to go on? When we were in Alaska, a couple of the ports did have tour companies on the dock to book that day.
Anyone recommend any tours for Akaroa, Wellington, and Melbourne?
Thank you!

Hi all. Has anyone gone on the Princess Land tour portion of the Alaska/Sapphire cruise? We are on next year’s July tour cruise. Would love to hear anyone’s pros and cons on the land tour. It is called off the beaten path starting in Fairbanks.
thank you!!!
