We cruised years ago to Hawaii. We did Old Lahaina Luau last time . We are in Honolulu until 11:00pm Christmas Eve Thank you for all the ideas. We are renting a car for the day :)

Best place for a Luau. We have only one night in Hawaii

If I can convince my parents to do this one instead could you introduce us? ;)

My daughters have been cruising durning the Holiday time for the last 19 years. They are 21 and 23 . They like the longer cruises. We are going to Hawaii for 15 days this year. ;) I hope this will help

We're doing a cooking lesson and a tour of the city. Pick up at the port, shop at local market, off to tour guides Mom's house in small village outside the city for cooking lessons and late lunch, tour of city, drop back at port.

Thanks for that. I just had a look and only 4 hotel would take bookings when I need(the rest were either all booked for months or aren't taking bookings) and of those 4, 3 said children had to sleep in existing bedding...... the one bed! Will look at the other one on different sites as it's a bit out of our price range.

The resort is called Adventure Park and Hotel Vista Golfo in Miramar, Puntarenas. The owner's name is Barbara. Sandy says to let them know you heard about them through Cruise Critic and someone who was once in one of Sandy Neundorfer's groups. Hope it helps!

During our canal trip, SandyIsRetired one of our roll call members who has retired to CR set up a great day at a resort about 45 min away. It included what those who participated said was an incredible zip line tour and a delicious lunch. A few of us paid less and enjoyed the beautiful pool and had lunch. I am going to shoot her an email with a link to this and perhaps she can help you find something similar....or at least get you in touch with her friends at the hotel.

Hi to anyone recently in Grenada -

Would you know if the current water levels in the river are high enough for a good River Tubing experience? I hear that when the water levels are low it is disappointing. We will be in Grenada in December and were wondering if we should book this tour or wait and see.
