  1. If you are interested do a search for singles cruises and you should get to the TA's that offer them. I have been on I think 7 of them. It is a great time . There are cocktail parties, dinner, lunch and breakfast together, excursions with the group and different ice breaker meetings. They will tell you how many are on the cruise up to date. You can request a roommate to save half the fare or pay double for you own room. There are usually more women than men on the cruise.

I have met many people men and women on the cruise that I keep in touch with via internet and Facebook. Some I have cruised with a number of times.

Give it a try I bet you will like it.

  2. I am not allowed to give you any websites on this forum. You can put in "Hosted singles cruises"

on Google or Bing and should get good responses. There are two major ones and some others.

I have been on 6 singles cruises and have met lots of people from all over the country and some from outside it. Still talk to many of them.

You can also go on facebook and do the same as google or bing.

  3. There are some Singlescruise.com and singlescruises-tours.com the second one has different companies it sell single cruises. These are escorted cruise with a host or two on board. VTG also has list of cruises with low or no singles supplement.

  4. I woukld like to know the best single cruise site to check out. I am leary about booking NOT with the cruise company itself, so any help would be appreciated. thanks:)

I don't know if this is allowed but if not they will cut it out. I have booked with Vacations to Go and Singlescruises.com both were very good had a great time made a lot of new friends.

  5. hello,

Your name brings memories. me, I am 57 , single, not by my choice. My "Navy Sailor" was supposedly divorced. when he got caught, he dumped me by sending a text. yep, spent 23 years in the Navy, retired as a Senior Chief, and left our relationship with a text after telling me I was his forever, and would be spending the rest of our lives together. I am not picking on you, sorry if it comes across that way. I have considered single, or solo cruises. Lucky for me, some friends are going with me. Yep, I am 57 and have no desire to be with someone older than me. I know, that is stupid, but I am only attracted to those a little younger. Maybe someday i will do the single cruise... I am sure it will happen as nothing else is happening in my life to make it any different...

No that isn't me I only served 6 yrs. would not use a text to break up. I hope you like the cruise whether it is a singles or solo. If you have friends going you will a great time I am sure. I am sorry you had to go though that with a sailor but go out and make some good ones. Have fun.

  6. I have been on 6 singles cruises. I go just to meet people not to find the love of my life. I have met many people of different ages and still am in contact with them on the internet and enjoy seeing them again on another cruise. If you want your dad to find a woman on one it can happen but don't expect it to. I have went with the roommate matching and have had lots of great roommates and a coupe bad. You don't have to go to the singles functions if you don't want. I found it harder to meet singles on a regular cruise.
