Can anyone let me know the likely cost of a P&O excursion in either Tromso or Alta to see the Northern Lights?

Also for a Husky Dog Sled Experience...but one with a Musher guided sled.

I'm trying to compare Privately booked trips with P&go on both price and the actual experience....

Any thoughts folks?

A return to Royal Caribbean after a few years and cannot remember.... how many formal nights on a 12 night cruise?

Also .... Do most people dress up? I'd like to know how many "Posh Frocks" to pack!

We're booked on Rhapsody of the Seas at the end of July...the roll call thread is so very quiet!! Does anyone have suggestions for non boat/private tours in Venice?

We get in at 3pm to overnight in port. Unfortunately we fly a.m. next day so can't do much before we go.

Hope to get some good ideas!

We have just got our holiday info booklet for A527 with printed luggage labels at the back. We hope to purchase extra 10kg with Thomson .... Getting impatient now!!

Indeed...but were told we can the £ back and it would seem we can only redeem it on a full price cruise. What if we cannot cruise again?

Wouldn't it be good customer relations just to add it to our Sea Pass?

The travel Agent said they cannot accept it as we got the cruise price on a special deal. RCI also said this. So.....how do we get our £ back if we cannot cruise with them again? That is the Q!

Rant of the Day....

we had purchased a Next Cruise Certificate aboard Adventure of the Seas in 2013 ..only for £75 I know, but it is the principle of the matter😟

Finally we have booked again with RCCI for 2016 to celebrate a "significant " Birthday but having booked through a TA we couldn't redeem the certificate.

At time of purchase we were told we could always get our £75 back if we didn't use it and we did not read the small print😧

On contacting RCCI, hoping we could at least get £75 on board credit on what may well be our last cruise, we were told that is not possible. We can gift the certificate or use on another cruise I.e ...we can leave it in our will perhaps?

RCCI have had our £ for a few years, earning interest!

Surely they would benefit by giving it back as onboard credit...we would spend more than that onboard for sure!!

Very bad customer service and PR methinks. We will start our 2016 cruise on a very sour note...all for the want of £75 OBC or a refund.

Shame on you Royal Caribbean.

Can anyone tell me what the usual opening hours are for the casino on Azura?I'm hosting a slot Pull on the TA in March and was hoping for a morning slot.

Can anyone tell me.... What make are the in cabin toiletries provided by P & O?

Do they still use the White Co? The shower, body lotion etc was good back in 2011 ....note sure about shampoo/ conditioner as I took my own. I'm on Azura in March.

we just returned from our first ever cruise. we used RIL for both Pisa/Florence (Elisabetta was our guide) and for Rome (Maurizio was our guide plus RIL booked Serena as our Vatican guide [ask for her if you can]).

 

We were on these tours too and can also say we had a great time with RIL. The mini buses used meant we could drive close to the must see sights and we were able to see some of the lovely countryside in Florence too. Drivers and Vatican guide were excellent. Thanks RIL.

The General Store on the Promenade sells chocolate bars. Not a huge selection, but chocolate nonetheless :rolleyes:

I'm on countdown to boarding in Southampton in May and was wondering whether you could tell me if there is anywhere on board that sells chocolate.!!! Maybe one of the shops on the Parade? I couldn't find anywhere on IOS last October but must admit ...I didn't look very hard.
