  1. Leaving 11/29, BB Balcony for 2 with taxes and ins. under $1250, great deal if you ask me for a new ship. I've not been on Regal and last year was my first Princess cruise, Ruby 5 Day. I've been on multiple RCCL and if I was bringing the kids, that might sway me. But I really liked my first Princess cruise last year as did my DW. 7 days, no kids, drinks, sun, good food (a lot better then RCCL), I mean come on, life is what you make it, have some fun.

  2. I booked through my TA for 11/29 for Guarantee Inside.

Then the price dropped and I called my TA, We were able to get back a little over $200.

Then the price for a Balcony Guarantee was the same as the Inside Guarantee so I called my TA again. I was able to get the Balcony for the same price. Although it was not assigned at first, I think it was the BZ, obstructed view they call it. But I got the BB on the Baja deck.

  3. When we were onboard CB in August, if one from the cabin wanted it, both of us were required to buy the drink package.

Sure makes for a fun cruise! :D

Just don't ask me about muster...

I don't understand how they can make you do that, what if one person does not drink at all, just water or iced tea, they're not going to make that person spend the $56 a day, that's not right.

  4. Hello, booked on a 5 day Ruby Princess cruise and received $400 total onboard credit. I'm just wondering what the Drink Package costs (for 1 person), and would it make sense to purchase the drink package or just use the OBC for alcohol. What, if any booze, does Princess allow you to bring on board. Thank you all, first time Princess cruiser and looking forward to it.
