  8. My p@o gripe is since covid p@o out of  Sydney has added 1 extra sea day on the  return  trip pacific  Islands  to  Sydney.

Used to be isle of pines last stop, then 2 sea days, now last stop mystery Island  ,then Sydney  is 3 sea days.yes I know, 1st world  problem...I like the  pacific adventure. Like the  promenade  deck, old princess  ships are fine for  me.

  14. it would have been nice to go in the mini suite on Explorer,

there better than adventure mini suites,in my own experience

full seperate bathtub, double balcony, higher up deck, there 2 balcony cabins combined as 1 really

were as  on adventure its a stretched out balcony cabin, with bigger balcony

p@o must be charging someone  a pretty penny to not want to give you the mini suite on x221n !!!

  15. okay me and the little lady anchors away 7 june for the first of many P@ o  out of sydney..

i read that p@O want cruisers to use this app verifly.

so i downloaded it, its pretty slick

but it does,nt have p@O as a cruise line, only carnival ect

anyone want to share what you know about this..

    save me ringing p@O

and im sure theres others who would like to know.thanks and happy cruising.challis

  16. I am finding the p@o flash sale perplexing..

Early Dec pack and go was 4 night s to Morton Island ex Sydney balcony for $499,

A good price and similar to 2 years ago sale .

But now a boxing Day sale has same cruise for $429 balcony. I happily paid $550 for a Jan Morton Island that was cancelled, that was also flash sale

And I booked a 10 night to Qld in early December, now same cruise has balcony for $10 more than the price I paid for window,$1020

P@o are dropping price s in sales,I keep booking, the sale price gets cheaper,I hope all is going well for carnival???!!!

  17. sorry to hear the that bowmn54

the cruises i have in mind are from july 21 onwards,

i have allways been able to cruise at less than 3 months notice, which is when the

last cabins,GTD status- are put up for sale,at last minute  prices-

i am so itching to get back onboard-But dont want the stress of having to double check my booking

on a weekly basis to ensure its still there.

the On line TAs are great, until you need help with bookings, then you seperate the good @ others

being 6 months plus out from Hopefull cruise-yes i will wait it out ..thanks for the feedback

    see you all onboard soon...

  18. I did a online booking through my long time cruise T.A..Ozxxxxg

But the people posting online re.

Extended delayed response to refund owing has me asking myself if it's a gamble.

I  like them because I don't get hit with credit card surcharge that the cruise lines charge

But if payment made by card would give you charge back in worst case scenarios.

    Anyone thinking I'm over cautious?

    Have 24 hours to pay

  19. well...

i booked  a friends flight   via fly365.com -singapore air- who departed a month ago

    ticket purchased in nov.19

and is due back in 2 weeks.thankfully,on the airline website the ticket

is confirmed and obviously paid in full for the return .

fly365 was aprox.$150 cheaper than booking direct with airline website

    $950 vs $1100

i thought thats a good saving, and have booked with 365.com previously

    found them via skyscanner

But this news, another reason to not cut corners with tickets.

its like walking through a minefield-

    note to self...

go direct with airline website .do not penny pinch...bad things can

    happen to good people...
