Just wanted some basic feedback on booking any cruise next year in March time frame. Is it to early? Seems like it is based on current Covid situation. But who knows. What are your thoughts if you care to share

We have a charter Rock and Roll Cruise starting April 1 on NCL. Still going and hope to have a good time. June is Alaska cruise. Both have been planned for months. My wife and I are both 60 which is getting up there. lol. But healthy generally speaking. As some have said, the risk is probably much higher driving to the airport than dying from this virus. Going on the New Years cruise leaving 12/28/2018 out of New York. Will take them along!

I have some casino chips from an NCL cruise 2 years ago. Do these expire?
-
For me its a simple one and everybody does it. Go up top and get a drink and hang out while the ship pushes from the dock and starts the journey. One of my favorite part of a cruise is being on the ship and moving! Going slow at first and building some speed toward the open ocean. Love it!

Why must you be the constant buzz kill on these boards. If you don't like the thread or have nothing constructive to add then don't open the thread. You can always apply for a moderator's job. You are always the second to comment on people's threads telling them what they can or cannot do, telling people what polls they can or cannot open, and how unhappy you are that threads get too long. Chill and let others post things.
Thank you! Should we close down all new posts and say "see prior thread". There would be no site like this. I get it. I always do a search so I won't get yelled at. Lol. FYI, I have never got a email for bidding just a couple times over the phone on another line asking if your interested but nothing lately.

I buy the spa pass ahead of time for the discount since we always know we will get it. I’m sailing for NYE and had to call for spa passes on Escape. I’ve had a lot of issues with using myncl for booking things - I could book everything I couldn’t do online over the phone.
Do you know if you can use on board credit towards the spa pass?
-
Yes, as noted $15 per bottle.
As you exit the elevators at Manhattan Cruise Terminal you see airport style screening. When they see the bottle(s) in your screened luggage, they then direct you to the NCL crew member at a desk on the left just beyond the screening area. He (it's always been a "he" for us) will charge the fee to your cabin - it will appear on your final room bill as a Manhattan Room charge.
Enjoy!
Can I use ship board credit for the fee?

hi.
I just bid the lowest possible number on an upgrade after five separate solicitations from NCL on a cruise beginning this Friday.
Does bidding that low ever work?
I would like to know also. Is there something you signed up for? Or are your already in the system by default as your booked on a cruise?

We were in Cabo last December and the hotel had a couple large xmas trees, etc. and was nice. Any idea if the Escape will be decorated for christmas or does NCL decorate their ships during the holiday generally speaking?

I have the same question but here are my details. Been to Nachi in the spring and was fine. My question is what has the best beach and water clarity, sandy bottom, general look of the area. Sanchos has lots of kids and we will be with another couple in their 50's but have no problem with kids, mine are 26 and 28. I would rather go somewhere different than Nachi so throw this one out. Would also rather have AI. What is the best physical beach, water and surroundings. Thanks. I hope this isn't like highjacking someones thread.

March 30, 2019 on the Bliss from Miami to LA through the Canal. Tom Petty sang it best. "The waiting is the hardest part".

We were there this past October on NCL and couldn't believe how crowded it was and not the peek period. So will be packed! Cold to mild but August will be hot! Good and bad news I guess.

Booked 1202 for this October. It sounds great just a little nervous about movement. I don't get seasick though. Come on October!

I know this is expensive when you compare to getting some of these bottles at your favorite store but this seems like a really good service. It takes the pressure off trying to sneak booze on board if that's what you do. Not judging here at all. But for me, paying for a couple of bottles on a 11 day cruise is a value. My question is the setups. Not sure how that works from the post. Do they estimate say how much I need for a gin and tonic and give me enough accordingly. Or are the setups an additional charge? Just wondering. On the Sun for 11 days in early October. Can't wait.
Is it just me…

“Is it just me” or is there far less private tour operators in Europe. We did private tours on 2 cruises before Covid and going to the British Isles in September. And the one or two I found seem really expensive. The ship tours seem to be a better way to go currently.
