  1. I am looking at booking. 7-night Vancouver-Anchorage cruise in September 2023.  The itinerary states arrival in Whittier/Anchorage at 12:30 am!  Does anyone know if you actually have to start disembarking soon thereafter or are you allowed to stay on the ship (and sleep) until a normal hour😂?   I understand you need to allow at least 2 hours to get to the airport.  Also, if I book a late afternoon flight, will there be a place to stow our luggage?  Thanks in advance. FYI,  not new to cruising, just new to cruising Alaska.

I received the following message this morning.  Please share your experience if this has happened to you.   I like to be prepared!  Thank you!

    IMPORTANT NOTICES
    EMBARKATION NOTIFICATION
Please be advised that embarkation for your Caribbean Princess cruise on Thursday, November 3, 2022 will begin at 12:30 PM due to required immigration formalities and a US Coast Guard Inspection that will take place upon the ship's arrival to Fort Lauderdale. This is a very thorough safety inspection, requiring the participation
  3. I just reserved the Crown Grille for our upcoming cruise.  The screen showed dining credit, but I could not confirm without a cc#.  I did not have my card on file, so I added my card, redid the reservation (4 people, each having a credit).  Cost was $116, credit $116, BALANCE DUE $0.  I too will keep an eye on my cc statement, but I think the credit was applied correctly.  🤞🏻

  4. I was under the impression that if you book EZ Air and request early ticketing, you could then deal directly with the airlines should flights be changed or canceled.  Can anyone confirm (or deny) this?  I cannot find anything specific on the Princess website FAQ.  Thanks in advance!

  5. We are also on this cruise.  One member our party was quarantined because of the virus.  Medical called, medications were sent to the room and the “hazmat” team was sent to clean. Cabin steward is not allowed in room to even bring ice.  On one of the first days on board a department head (not mentioning dept, do not want to get anyone in trouble) told us the captain was disembarking a passenger in St. Thomas for refusing to wash his hands in the buffet and being rude to staff.  Being served in buffet is a bit of a pain but necessary. I have not personally seen anyone object to hand washing in the buffet.  To the OP, have you been in the casino?  That is the only place my friend was that the rest of us did not go.  Also to OP, hope you are feeling better and are able to enjoy the rest of your cruise.

  6. We generally pre-pay our tips so as not to have so many daily charges on our folio, however, on our up coming cruise we have a large amount of non-refundable OBC and would like to use that for tips.  Has anyone asked Passenger Service to charge your folio for the entire suggested amount at one time so as not to see daily charges?  I honestly do not want have to do the daily math to know how much OBC is remaining. Please do not let this escalate into a tipping debate or question my reasoning for this. Thanks in advance.

  7. It’s been several years since we used EZ Check to check our bags straight through to our home airport.  I know it is only available for flights after at least 11:30.  Does anyone know how much it costs to EZ check 1 bag person?  We are flying AA.  Thanks in advance!

  8. I will probably have to get a definite answer once on board but I thought I’d ask here for your thoughts.  We have 4 specialty dining “credits”.  Do you think they will allow us to trade for one Ultimate Balcony Dining package?

  9. We did a B2B2B on the CB in 2017, 14 nighter in 2018 & 2019 and are booked on the CB for 14 nights in 2020!  While we were somewhat disappointed with the food selections this year, our experience on the CB is excellent!  Enjoy!

It sure would be GREAT for someone to get the exactly correct info & post it here.

(I am Elite & going on Caribbean Prin in late July for 13 days.)

We were on the Caribbean Princess 1/26-2/9/2019.  Pre-cruise unlimited internet was offered for $99.99 for a single device for the entire cruise.  Once on board the first day they offered $89.99 for a single device for the entire cruise.  They also offered a plan with 4 devices for $179.99 for the entire cruise.  If you were platinum or elite, you could still use you 250 minutes if you wanted to instead of purchasing a package.  I was under the impression that if you ran out of minutes, you could pay $9.99 per day but I cannot confirm since we purchased an unlimited package.  I do know logging in and out to use a different device was a bit difficult at times, not sure why.  The internet was fast and reliable!
