    1. You mentioned Elite/Platinum gets free internet for one device - can I switch between my iphone and laptop (but only one connected at a time)?

    2. How long the 'free' will be for E/P passengers ? till they iron out the bugs or just your cruise only ?

  2. Friends got stuck at Seattle due to Alaska Airline plane issue (supposed to arrive at ANC late Friday night) but now Alaska airline put them on Saturday pm flight to ANC - they're not sure if they can make the ship?

     

    They bought ticket from EZ-Air but booked their own pre-cruise tour which including the port xfer but now everything is up in the air ..

     

    Does Anchorage have Uber or Lyft ?

     

    Any info is appreciated.

  4. I usually use anytime dinning. However, my upcoming cruise has pre-paid gratuity and will be eating at traditional dinning room (traveling with a large group). I wonder how the wait staff get their $$ ? (in the old days we handed out the envelops at the last night to the wait staff while in traditional seating but no longer do that once switched to anytime). Any clue?

     

    Also, some members in the group I'm with want to switch seats with other members at different tables (in the same dining room) at least 3-4 times during the 7-day period - they said they don't want to sit with the same people 7 night in a row and think it's their choice/right to do the switch when they want :rolleyes:

    Does Princess allow this ? or it really creates chaos for the wait staff ?

  5. I was google tonight and came across this service.

    We have a party of 6 and will be taking Star Princess (from Whittier) in July.

    I have priced some transfer options (including Princess transfer) and none of them is cheap after times 6. Kids want to get to ship between 12:30 and 1 pm and most those tour/transfers wont get to Whittier till 4 or 5 PM.

    Also, does anyone know when Princess transfer starts assuming they have from both airport and Eagan center??

     

    Any info is appreciated.

  6. Just walk up.....they take cash and credit cards.

    No they don't say they are held.

    They just fill them up and they leave and another one is there.

     

    Will they take you to rental car place?

     

    We have a rental car reserved - really hate to haul all luggage to LAX then rental car shuttle to pick up the car:(

  7. called Princess again and this time got another lady that was willing to go in to profile and take a peek.

    lo-n-behold, my email address was 'changed' when DH booked a new cruise a week ago thru Costco and somehow his email address was placed in my profile :eek: even the rep said everyone has their own profile and login and should not be 'messed/mixed up' like this with new booking. DH insisted it's Princess screw up and he's innocent :rolleyes:

    Oh and even worse, found out he and I have different membership # !!!!:confused: (not the A/B of the last character - completely diff # !)

     

    So the rep reset the email in my profile and I'm back on business again.

  8. still no luck - no pre-typed ID - didn't let computer remember the id.

    I had to use the other way last night (booking id and dob) to get into personalizer in order to update passport info and double-checked my id in the profile and it's there.

    But now I'm like 'poof' gone from their system.

    Will call them again and hope to get some one that knows what he/she is talking about ...instead of telling me to use chrome ! :eek:

  9. Trying to logon to Princess website last night and today and kept getting 'system can't find your email address or password' info.

    Tried 'forgot my password' option on the login panel and it also came back saying can't find me but I know I'm there.

    Called Princess today and the rep said to use Chrome and logon (I tried both IE and Firefox and neither recognize me).

    Did this happen to any one ? I know I didn't change pw and I logon about 10 days ago to price a future tour :mad:
