I just emailed them at hello@stockperks.com with the cruise info and redacted stock statement.  They emailed me back to advise that they had received my request and the OBC was posted the following day.  Very easy!

Ditto. Emailed last night, confirmation email from Stockperks this afternoon and credit was on our booking when I checked a few minutes later. Sorry, just a little 'old school' and didn't want to use the App if I didn't have to....at least I didn't fax anything to anyone. Looking forward to our 4 year delayed cruise to Hawaii the end of March.

  2. We really had a bad experience a few cruises ago with an adjoining cabin. A couple who apparently didn't like each other and their teenagers who apparently didn't like either of them! 😱 But as mentioned in previous replies, it really does depend on who your 'adjoiners' are. I bet you'll have a wonderful time and sincerely hope you do.

According to the Deck Plan for Discovery Princess there is no R244.  Are you sure that is the room identifier given to you?

Was wondering the same thing as there isn't a R244 on the Discovery deck plan. Was also wondering how you received the notification(email?) and from whom(Princess?) The wording of the notification with abbreviations and odd capitalizations looked a bit strange. Hopefully it was legit.

If you had booked your cruise before the change date in December (the 15th maybe) 2022, and you place your medallion order before 2/20/23, the shipping is free.  After that date, you pay un less you have the new princess plus or premier package.  We have a family cruise in June of 2023 so I ordered the medallions for all the cabins yesterday, no charge.

Just an FYI. We're Platinum for what it's worth relate to this thread.

Two cruises booked both before 12/2022,

October '23 7 Day New England,  Standard Package - Ordered Medallions yesterday and no charge for

              for Medallions or shipping.

March '24 15 Day Hawaii, Plus Package(old pricing) - Ordered Medallions today and no charge for

Medallions but requesting $10 for shipping.

We'll wait on ordering for the March '24 cruise and see what happens between now and then. Not a big deal either way,  just thought I'd share our experience.

  5. Our 2020 Hawaii cruise was cancelled due to COVID but we had 2 excursions booked with 'Tours by Locals'. Nice website and good communication with our guides. Not particularly inexpensive but will plan on trying to use them again on our re-booked 2024 cruise. Just a thought.

I was not able to reserve from the Medallion, but I was able to make reservations from the Princess site by going into the Web Version. It now shows upon the Medallion site.

Thanks!! I went on the web version and that site recognizes that we have specialty dining credits and notes that we will be credited for those when we make our reservations. Perfect!

  7. Maybe a little off topic but it is related to booking specialty dining in advance. We have 4 complimentary specialty dinings gifted from our TA that show up on our booking for our cruise in a few weeks. This will be our first Medallion cruise and our first opportunity to book specialty dining in advance. I think I'm remembering that if you book specialty dining in advance the up-charge is billed to your credit card on file for the cruise. There was a post a year or so ago that the poster said the Medallion app 'recognized' their complimentary dinings and their credit card wasn't charged. Anyone with recent experience with this situation? Wondering if it would be less of a hassle to just wait to book the reservations until we are on the ship like we've done in the past. Thanks in advance for any advice.

  8. I know this question has been asked many times before but I can't find the posts. Saturday 12/17 disembarkation and scheduled arrival at 6AM, 4 ships in port, 10:30 flight...can we make it? Know the airport is minutes away but would appreciate seasoned travelers input on ability to make that flight. I think remembering previous post saying that it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks ahead.

We did have it FLL earlier this year. Delta was one that participated. No International flights.

You do have to ask for the form to fill out and it had to be in about 3 days before the cruise ended.
Most important: They need a printed copy of your flight confirmation. Your names, ticket nos, flight information, confirmation number from the airline.

    Screenshot doesn’t cut it.

I think it was $25 per person, plus whatever your bag fees are for the airline, if they charge you.

Thanks so very much. Sounds like what we did on previous cruises and we are flying Delta so we should be good to go!

  10. We've used this service on previous cruises but I haven't seen any recent posts mentioning it. We have our first cruise post-COVID in December (Ft. Lauderdale) and were wondering if this service is still available since the restart after COVID. Hope so. I remember that not all airlines offer it. Thanks ahead for your comments.

My husband and I are booked for The Crowns first cruise after drydock to Hawaii.....I am following all the threads that I can to keep up to date on what may or may not happen.  I have concerns for sure, but hoping her current problems will be fixed for that 15 day cruise

My wife and I are booked for the 1/31/23 Hawaiian cruise(rebooked from our COVID cancelled cruise) and  like you are following all the 'Crown threads', have concerns and are hopeful the propulsion issues will be taken care of during the dry dock. Agree with all that Princess should have had the Crown 'ship shape' before she was put back in service. Will surely cancel if those issues aren't remedied in the dry dock. Would love it if they decided to go with our favorite the Emerald for those cruises. Wishful thinking.

  12. We've stayed in E731(starboard) on the Emerald several times and agree with previous comments. Loved the room, loved the privacy and loved the balcony. But a  word of caution. The last time we stayed in E731 they had converted it into a connecting room with E729 and we had noisy, somewhat obnoxious late night 'neighbors' . The room was definitely less soundproof than before the conversion. Made our cruise experience a little less enjoyable. Don't know if E730 and E728 are connecting but that might be a consideration. Just an FYI.

As long as Princess continues to give us the cruise credit I don't care.   I never bought it for anything more than the OBC.

Agree totally. Was never planning using my CCL stock to help me retire just to enjoy my retirement a little more when we cruise.😉🛳️

  14. I saw the previous post from someone who recently ordered tests through the Optum site that had an October '22 expiration date. For those of you who have recently ordered tests through Optum, are the expiration dates several months down the road. We have a mid-February cruise and would like to go ahead and order the tests to have on hand in case local testing ends up being a problem. Thanks
