  1. Maybe it's just me, but I kinda think that a $145 Tommy Bahama's shirt on a guy is pretty chic. And appropriate for chic night.

You are definitely not alone. A Tommy is more than appropriate for a 'vacation' cruise during 'Chic' nights. Personally I would be more involved in what I was eating and who I was talking to than fretting about what folks are wearing.

  2. Your best bet is to print them off from your 'Guest Ticket Booklet' that is available on the Celebrity website, or it is emailed to you. The luggage tag is on page 15 of the booklet. You only need to print that page as many times as needed.

  3. We have done B2Bs when sailing the Caribbean. When a ship does the Western 7 day itinerary and follows up with an Eastern 7 day itinerary, a B2B becomes one long 14 day cruise. There is no one booking for a B2B. These are two SEPERATE bookings which you can do at the same time with your TA who can try (not always possible) to get you the same cabin for both cruises.

  4. Food is always a point of preference. You will see as many 'good' reviews as 'bad' reviews on quality and quantity. I for one have never had any issue with cruise food. If I find something I don't want or don't like, I get something else. To be honest, I don't spend alot of time in 5 star restaurants. Don't worry about the food and enjoy your cruise.:)

  5. We had gone beyond our 140 when we found out about crystal blocks. I was told you got a block with the ship you were on when you got the 140. I thought we achieved that on the Independance so when I emailed C&A I stated that we were on the Indy and never got a block. One week later we got our block in the mail for the Freedom. After checking I found out we were indeed on the Freedom at 140. I couldn't have asked for better service.

  6. Cruising is a vacation 'OPTION'. There are many possibilities out there to enjoy your free time. Research your options and select what is best for you and your family. I have been cruising for many years because I love it. I have experianced the times when cruise lines offered more goodies for the cruise fare and I have watched as cruise lines have evolved into what we have today. I fully expect things to continue to change and I will adapt to those changes and still love cruising.

  7. FYI - Seattle's Best is a wholly owned subsidary of Starbucks. As an old grunt veteran I am used to 'field' coffee strained thru an old sock and heated on a jeep engine. I won't complain if it's one brand or the other. We once had a mess cook leave a Brillo pad in the coffee urn after cleaning it. It was said that the coffee was outstanding that day.

  8. Concerning the Consierge Lounge/Wonderland. I thought originally the Consierge Lounges on RCCL were for suite guests and the Diamond Lounges were for loyalty members, D, D+. Now with the creation of the Suite Lounge on deck 17 for suite guests, that would eliminate the Conierge Loungs. I feel that the ongoing debate about who should be allowed to partake of the lounges is pretty cut and dried. Suite guests and Loyalty guests are apples and oranges. RCCL is catering to each group by providing a seperate area just for them. If you are loyal over time and many cruises, you get the Diamond lounge and all its perks. If you paid a lot of money for a suite, even if it is your first cruise, then you get the Suite Lounge and all its perks.

  9. Yup...we never got one for 140 nor 210 also.......Oh well...life goes on....:D

We discovered this perk after we bypassed our 140 mark. The following is our response from C&A:
