  1. Hi, I am reading your "live" and traveling with you vicariously. We just got off the Legend TA but wished we could have stayed on longer for the full canal experience.

They crew are very excited about going through the Canal, too.

A few points to add to yours...we had about the same number of passengers.

MTD was never crowded if you went 8 pm or later. We always went to the shows suggested for late diners...some before dinner and some as late as 10:45. We never made reservations either...worked out fine. Dining at. Table for 8 almost always took 2 hours unless you asked to be expedited. We didn't mind as we enjoy conversation with others.

There was no Zumba but they did have daily dance classes and lots of line dancing and instruction.

We only noticed off smells when in port on boarding day...near the Centrum stair case and one other day on the top walking deck while we were at sea. I think they must have been dumping treated materials, as allowed while far out.

We usually cruise on much larger ships but we both loved the size and ease of navigating the Legend. We used the stairs most of the time, too. There are plenty of lounges and places to read or sit if you have an inside cabin.

Park Cafe in the sanctuary pool area on deck 9 is a great alternative to the traffic in Windjammer for both breakfast and lunch. You are served from a selection of hot and cold food and there are plenty of tables and also beverage stations. We had breakfast there almost every morning.

My DH really enjoyed the daily miniature golf contests and the friendliness of the sports staff there.

Thanks for sharing your travel experience. Enjoy!

  2. We're in 7053 on the Legend in Jan!!! Thanks! They told me there was no fridge glad to hear there is. Is the sofa next to the window?if you have pics I'd love to see. Have a great crossing!

Yes, sofa is next to the window. We really like this cabin for all the space and light. Good storage, too and it's easy to get around the end of the bed without tripping over each other. Will post pics when we get home. On first of 7 Atlantic sea days today. Calm seas, sunny and warm enough for T shirts and pool use on deck. Blissful!

  3. We are currently on the Legend, doing the crossing to FLL. We are in 7053 Panoramic which is quite spacious, has good storage, a mini bar fridge and no decor on the windows. Love the location but those going to bed early might want to bring ear plugs as music is played in the Centrum until midnight. It doesn't bother us.

We are not using the bar fridge. Could have contents removed but it is really not cool enough inside to be useful.

We do not hear any noise from elevators or stairs but we are conveniently close to them.

Deck 8 cabins will experience early and late pool deck noise, including metal carts that get rolled around.

  4. We are booked on the Legend in 7053, just 2 of us, in Feb 2014. No mention of needing 3 people.

My husband and I are also booked in 7053 on the Legend for the TA In October 2013. No problem for just the 2 of us either. We'll take good care of her and bring her home for you! Will take a picture of our room and post it for you, too. Got my TA's mixed up...sorry about that!
