Great review, LMM! I cracked up after reading that the chef came out to see who was eating so much!

On my very first cruise, I was getting some lunch in Windjammer, and I head over to get a drink. The floor was wet and my sandals had very smooth soles. I slipped, and landed on my butt. My plate of food goes everywhere. Tons of people are staring at me, and I did the only thing you can do in that situation - laugh and get myself up. :o

Count me in as one who could do without the characters on the ships. If I were to go with my toddler son, then I would seek them out because he would enjoy them and making him happy would be worth it to me. But if my hubby and I ever decide to take an adult-only trip, I would avoid them like the plague. ;) I spend enough of my time around Elmo, Thomas, and other preschool characters already.
