Okay,, I would go into the suite lounge when I get in the morning to grab a cup of coffee. In and out. I'll put a cap on so no one sees bed head LOL!
I am a pretty casual person, but I do dress up in nice slacks and a nice shirt for dinner, but not during the day. I prefer shorts and t-shirts.

Johnny Rockets milkshakes are covered under the deluxe and refreshment drink plans.
To answer the other question, yes, you can wait until board to book shows and dining once on board through concierge IF you are really flexible. If not, you may want to do it before you board.
If you don't want to do it through cruise planner, you will get an email from your concierge several days before the cruise. You can ask them to make those reservations then.

Thank you both!

I replied to the email and typed in the spreadsheet they provided. I couldn't copy and paste it either.
I noticed some conflicting info with what I know about Allure. They did not mention beer and wine from 11-11, only 5-8. We shall see when we board.

I sort of wondered. The website says MDR is smart casual and it definitely isn’t LOL
-
Okay thank you. Can anyone comment on the smart casual dress code? Is that mostly for dinner?
-
I just got my email from our concierge for our cruise this Sunday. Previous info here shared there is free beer and wine from 11-11. I received the following in my letter.
Do they just not mention it? Also, it says that it’s smart casual. Is that for dinner or does that also mean during the day? Im
just wondering if anything may have changed.
From letter:The dress code in the Suite Lounge is smart casual, so please make sure you pack accordingly.
Coffee and tea are available in the Lounge throughout the day.
Hors d'oeuvres, petit fours and complimentary wine, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are available for our Suite guests every evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

I just got my concierge email a few minutes ago. Good luck!

We are on the same sailing! We are staying in a Crown Loft Suite. Our first suite on an Oasis class ship. We also have a 3 night dining package and plan on asking the concierge for help with reservations. The formal nights on our cruise are nights 2 and 6.
I’m looking forward to the email too! I’ll keep an eye on the spam folder if we don’t get anything by Tuesday. See you on board!

I pre purchased and put money into our onboard account for our upcoming cruise. Basically, I gifted myself and my wife. I like the idea of having money they’re ready to spend. What happens if I do not spend all of the OBC? Do I get a refund or do I have to spend it all?

The prices may vary slightly by ship.
Are you kidding me?! Wow that is expensive! A lot more expensive than booking online- 1

I wonder if anyone has the regular spa price list posted somewhere or has access to it?

Yes, I have seen the buy 3 treatments discounted onboard, usually towards the middle or end of a sailing. Such as mini facial, mini upper body massage and foot massage for $99.
They do not give diamond discount off any onboard specials. Same goes for the 20% discount offered on port days.
Oh! I didn't realize they do not give the diamond discount on onboard specials or port day massages. Thanks for that information!
-
Thank you. I recall port day specials and buying 3 treatments at a discount but I can’t remember the prices.
On top of that, we get 15% discount as diamond members.
-
I know that Royal Caribbean’s sales are always a sale LOL. I am wondering if the pre-cruise prices of $103.99 on first day and $118.99 (port day) for 50 minute massages are a good deal. We are diamond members and I believe we get a 15% discount.
Will there be better port day prices on the ship? Plus the 15% discount? I am guessing that reserving online means we do not get to use our 15% diamond discount.
I am just wondering if you tend to get the same deal booking ahead of time or waiting until you board the ship for massage discounts. Thanks in advance!

Where is the Starbucks Kiosk on Allure of the Seas?
-
Know what I'm thinking? I'm thinking he is wondering if you didn't know you prepaid the gratuities and he felt guilty for not saying anything LOL $120 is very generous. You did say 14 days. Some won't pay anything extra if they didn't make special requests and some would give a little more just because. Yours was very generous and I can't imagine they were actually disappointed.
-
I think one of the other problems people have found cruising from Galveston is that Lyft or Uber were not reliable transportation if you stay close to the port. The drivers don't make as much money as they do driving from Houston to the port. I read that they rejected requests because of it. That made me really nervous thinking I needed to hire a private car or get on a shuttle.

But you can use your Starbucks card, the Starbucks app or Starbucks gift card. You cannot use your Starbucks Reward Stars but you will earn them.
Okay, great. I don't think I knew I could use my starbuck app to pay for coffee. I thought we had to pay for it through our cruise account.
-
I totally enjoy it. However, I am retired from participating LOL! I can't wait to just watch all the action!

Are the CK wait staff in the same tip pool as the MD staff? We plan on going to the CK restaurant once, MD 3 times and specialty restaurants on other days

ONLY THE 11:00 am to 11:00 pm drink availability. Quantum class generally does not have this benifit.
Oh okay….sorry i thought you were answering the questions. You were commenting about the 11-11 availability on oasis class ships. We will be on Allure for this cruise. Thanks!

Which question are you answering LOL
Do they give you a receipt for your drink so you can tip? Or is cash expected?

Perfect! My last read before we fly to Houston tomorrow. Glad to hear it!
