  1. 2 points...

What is the email address to send to Carnival to request pins? (I misplaced it)

    and

Any chance anyone has a past passenger pin from the Pride of Aloha ( NCL)

thanks in advance for any replies

  2. LOL..that is rich..I'll do it if eveyrone else will...would love to see "corporate" faces when they would get all the mail...like the scene in "Miracle on 34th Street" in the courtroom when the mailmen bring in tons and tons of bags with letters addressed simply to "Santa Claus"..the judge's expression is priceless...

Thanks for a good laugh for the day....take care all...safe sailings and happy cruising to all

  3. Lumofny..when you send in the $500 certificates. what do you reference? Confirmation number, sailing date, ship, all of the above? How far in advance can you send them? I want to use it for a November 2009 repo cruise that already is holding my cabin with a $250 cruise rewards deposit. Thanks for your valuable info... Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone....GO NAVY!!! later all... Marla

  4. Feb. 4 2009 - sent a long, detailed & polite letter to the address listed here on the thread via regular mail with highlighted copies of what I should be receiving from them - I had 483 points as of my December 13th billing date. I charged $425 as a prepaid OBC for my NYE cruise to confirm the 17 balance points before 12/31 so I could get to $500 certificate. I also charged non NCL stuff before 12/31 totalling $1,007.96 at 3% rate which gave me 30.24 points for a 100 point upgrade certificte.

I sent this lettter in because of the panic I felt on the boards but figured hey let me give it a shot. I gave my cell phone number and asked to be called when they received my lettter and straightened everything out.

Feb. 5 I receive a 100 point upgrade certificate. I figured this crossed in the mail with my letter so I was glad that I sent my "unsolicited" letter.

Feb. 10 - I received a phone call on my cell from a very helpful gentleman who confirmed that they received my letter and that my corrected certificate for $500 and one for 100 point upgrade would be going out in the mail shortly and I should receive it within 7-10 days. I asked what the problem was and he said that with the whole conversion thing many accounts were screwed up but that they were working very hard to clear up everyone's accounts.

TODAY - February 17 - I received the $500 off certificate - and the 100 points one category upgrade certificate

So I am a happy camper!!! Good luck to all of you..Thank you for all the information provided on this thread... GO NAVY!! later all...Marla

  5. elp..don't have time to read back on the thread so this may have been answered but...when you are writing to BOA re yoru points..has anyone sent their letters via overnite mail or certified mail return receipt requested? Do they actually sign for it? or do you have to send it regular mail..some places do not accept overnite mail delivveries..yet I'd like some kind of receipt as documentation that I sent it...thanks for responses...have a terrific Tuesday

  6. so..i've tried reading through this thread to find the answer first...but i can't...so is there a definitive answer to the question..

closing billing date is December 19...at that point I have 483 points... if I charge the $425 NCL purchases or $567 non NCL purchases (or whatever combo) to get te remaining 17 point to reach the magical 500 number...will the charges(s) made between 12/19 and 12/31 count? and what should be the FINAL date I charge to insure that they are posted by 12/31? thanks...

  7. hey there you PE...did your better half get the package I sent her? If I want to buy OBC what do I do? call whom? fax to where? I'd like to buy some OBC for next week's cruise (12/27 on the Gem) is it too late? help me my Johnny...thanks...Marla

  8. I need 17 more points to get to 500! HOW much doI need to charge and what can i charge that is helpful before 12/31? I do not drive so no gas cards and the store cards scare me.,,I am leaving on the 12/27 Gem but I am afraid that whatever I charge before the 31st there will not post until January does buying some OBC for the cruise count as an NCL purchase? and how do I do this sooner than later so it will post before year's end? Help..AND THANKS!!

  9. Hi...still looking for a Paradise pin and a Fascination pin...have Victory and Triumph to trade or will purchase...

can someone post the link to get to Carnival to ask about pins? thanks in advance...happy cruising...Marla

  10. Leasve it open with a zero balance...when you go to purchase another home it will reflect well on your credit report (score) because your amount of "available" credit is higher and your debt/credit ratio looks better. If you pay all balances off every month then perhaps it won't affect the score because then it's a "zero/debt to "whatever credit available balance" anyway....but me. I'd keep it open JMHO...

  11. Applied and gor approved right away after a 3 minute on line application!!! cna't wait to charge and pay EVERYTHING at the end of each month and accumulate points! Although this is an NCL thread, does anyone know if Carnival has this program as well? Thanks and happy cruising to all!!!
