  1. I booked a tour with Royston. He was having van trouble and had Ashton take us instead. There were 8 of us. Ashton is a great tour guide; very knowledgeable and very friendly. He provided water, soft drinks and beer during the tour. He also provided BBQ chicken wings and a hot roll for lunch at a secluded spot overlooking the beach. The chicken was the best BBQ I've ever eaten. You'll love Ashton's tour. IF Royston's are the same meal and drinks, you'll like that one too.

  2. Could you provide more details? Exact Date? Number of people? Flying or driving? Dinner requirements? Sightseeing?

Driving, arrive 12/1; sail 12/2 - 12/14. 2 people, need dinner and hotel + park and transportation to/from pier? Best option Ramada Plaza or Springhill Suites that includes free breakfast and I pay transportation to/from pier? Transportation not included on Trinity site for here.

  3. The Ramada on Frontage RD is a nice hotel. We stayed last September and was surprised when we got to the hotel and found they have a shuttle that will take you into NYC for the day. We got on the 11:30 shuttle which I think is the last one and you have your choice of two return times. They are 8PM or 11:00PM. We had a great time in the city and returned on the early shuttle. Enjoy your cruise.

What was cost of shuttle to NYC?

  4. Campolady,

I just started reading threads today & noticed you offer guidance on Malaga. We arrive on 9/9 from 11:30-6:30 and I have some questions based on your earlier posts for an itinerary.

Should we take cab to Gibralfaro castle first and buy dual ticket for Alcazaba?

    Next walk to Alcazaba castle.

Then take elevator down to rear of town. Next walk to amphitheater.

Then visit Cathedral & finally Atarazanas market.

Finally, should we take city shuttle or train f/ city center back to ship?

Also, is there any need to purchase "Foosteps Through Malaga" book?

Also, you said shops are closed from 1:30 -5pm; is this everyday?
