Definietely Smith's for Airports. Very reliable.

Opera House in Manaus rivals Vienna's Opera house! That was worth the trip, along with the villages and the parting of the waters and the pink dolphins!
I think is is called meeting of the waters. Parting of the waters is a whole other story. :)

I think it depends on the port. Last month on and off the Ruby was a breeze.

Favourite cabins are the wonderful covered mini suites on Emerald deck. So close to the aft elevators. The only problem was on the Ruby at Princess Key when they kept running the thrusters to keep the ship in the same position. Terrible vibrations everywhere aft.

Will be setting the DVR for both Puppy Bowl and Kitty Bowl. We will be watching the Super Bowl. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!

Crystal serves Hendricks, also.

Now I am waiting for the rest of the story. Really enjoying your review. You are very entertaining.
I agree with the poster that said your "live from" was the very best.

Fabulous video. Thank you so much for sharing. The ship looks sooooo beautiful!!!! Can't wait to check her out in April.

Just a little confused about the "free Cruise" promotions on the Ruby, If you pay $499 pp for the balcony plus $80 tax, do you get the whole $499 as a fcc or are there some taxes in there that will be deducted, I know either way is a great price but was wondering
You get the $499 as a FCC. The $80 goes to the government.

Have had three Vista Suites. Two on Ruby and one on Grand. They were all fabulous. We love looking over the wake. All suites have been on Dolphin Deck. Very nice cabins and balconies.

What visa service does Regent use? I was reading on the Crystal board that some haven't gotten their passports back that they sent in in August. Crystal recommends Pinnacle. Who does Regent recommend?
I know the problem could be with the Brazilian Consulate, but was curious who Regent recommends.
Thanks

As the topic is minibars, could some one tell me what the mini bar set up on Princess is like? I have sailed on Cunard a number of times and in the QG category you receive a mini bar set up which includes beer, mixers, colas, and two bottles of spirits, wine or cordials. They are refilled as needed. Is there a similar set up for Suite Passengers on Princess? Thanks for your help.
MIke.
The minibar is just miniature liquor bottles. Not at all like QG on Cunard. No refills.

Thanks. did a search and nothing came up.
No.

What about medications. I know we can usually get a three month scrip, but how do you get a four month. Will pharmacies oversea honor our perscriptions?

Do you have to store your luggage in your stateroom or does Crystal store it for you?
-
Thanks, Keith, i will have many more questions.

I know Crystal has themed cruises. Do they ever have any themed segments on a WC?

Wouldn't you want to weight the body down so that it does not end up floating back up and maybe in to shore?
Not very funny and quite inappropriate.

Currently on the Grand in WS F309. Great cabin in a great location. First time without a balcony and wasn't sure how we would like it. It is great. No smoke smell, no noise from the casino, and the closet and drawer space is outstanding. The only noise I've heard are the moving of deck chairs early in the morning be the crew. I love this room and would book it again. Love the new look of the Grand.

So sad to hear about Joe. Cruised with him several times and he was so very helpful. RIP, my friend.
