The only thing I don’t like about the Princess site is it doesn’t alert you to messages. Boo hiss.

We want to use text on the ship as well. It’s a great way to keep in touch with my kid! We’re you able to make this work on the ship’s Wi-Fi?  I do not want to place calls nor text anyone off the ship. 

Weird! Both worked on the Regal last Thanksgiving!

Hi! Thanks! Believe it or not, WhatsApp and FB messenger work solely on the the Regal and Royal Wi-Fi, no money or internet needed. It has been a nice feature in the past. Princess@sea is great, it just doesn’t give message alerts. But we’ll make it work for us. Thanks!!

On the Regal and Royal, you are able to use WhatsApp to communicate your party on the ship. I have a 14 year old boy and it was a great way to keep in contact. Do you know if we can use WhatsApp or something similar on the Crown? Or will we have to use the messaging on crown.princess.com?  Yes, I am unplugging from the rest of the world, just want to know if it works on the ship’s network. Thanks in advance for your reply. 

I bought a $5000.00 piece from Sophia Fiori on the regal in 2015. I spoke to Char as well because I sent my ring in for repairs and they told me they cannot repair it and I have to buy a new ring for $1200.00 from them!!! Which made me wonder if my ring is only worth 1200.00!

After I spoke to Char, I learned that Princess actually does their OWN 5 year warranty on jewelry. Aside from the lie of a "lifetime warranty" from Sophia Fiori. Char is now in the process of determining what kind of shenanigans SF is trying to pull. I'm thankful I was able to reach someone at princess before I sent them money. I want my wedding ring back!

Hi everyone! I’ve heard the Crown goes to dry dock in April 2018. Does anyone know if this is a refurb of the rooms or are they just maintaining the exterior?

If the engine problems are still occurring at the time of your voyage, you will receive a notice from princess (if you haven't alread) with your adjusted port times. We actually cancelled our November sailing on the CP because our ports were shortened too much and docking times were weird i.e. arriving at the Panama Canal at 5AM.

I am going on 11/16 and have not heard anything other than what I was told yesterday..... "The medallions may or may not be mailed to you." Helpful, eh? I anticipate them handing them out at embarkation at this rate. Which makes me wonder if they will still be customizable.

Can anyone tell me what to expect with the concierge area? Is it just a nice lounge or do they do happy hours and snacks and such?

I cancelled my November Thanksgiving cruise to the Panama Canal because of this. Rebooked something shorter on the Regal, saved money and got a suite. So I guess it worked out, but I am very sad I am not going to see the Panama Canal or hold a sloth in Costa Rica!

Hi all. It has been a while since I have been on a princess cruise. From what I recall is there are two shows a night. Is the earlier show more family friendly? I'm thinking of the magician, but there might be other examples. Thanks in advance for your reply. :confused:
