We are on board the summit now! Parking was extremely easy right at the pier. Short walk to the terminal.

Have never seen chicken wings on Summit. They did have rotisserie chicken a couple of times in the Ocean View which had chicken wings as part of the selection - and I realize that isn't the same things as delicious meaty wings!!.
haha exactly! The man loves his chicken wings.... :)

Didn't miss a thing.
Then why be so rude to me? I don't share your position that my family can be left while I go mingle and I'm wrong?
I say you clearly missed something because my original post was asking about where I could get a mimosa without going to the Elite breakfast. You managed to turn that into my needing to dismiss my family, then go eat muffins with them somewhere?
I feel so lucky I get to meet you on our cruise in a few days.
-
You can take your parents to the Café al Bacio at 7am. It's a nice setting on the M-Class. You can have your mimosas and even a freshly baked muffin with your parents without having to be bothered with the "Elites."
Since you are in a RS, you can also ask your butler to bring you wings in place of the normal canapés they serve in the afternoon. Don't know if they carry wings on board, but you can always ask.
Or I can have my butler set a white linen table and bring me fresh breakfast. Also I am an Elite so saying I"m "bothered" by them is a little off.
I think maybe you missed my whole point of asking about mimosas.

Thanks for the review! We leave on Sunday and can't wait!

Cafe al Bacio on Deck 5 and the Sunset Bar on Deck 10 both open at 7 AM! :D
Sunset bar at 7am sounds perfect!
I was wondering if the Cafe could do a morning mimosa, maybe I'll check that out too!

I've never seen chicken wings on any Celebrity ship I've sailed, but then again, I've never been on a mission to seek them out.
We're traveling with my brother and his wife and have on several occasions. They are not Elite, but that has never prevented me from attending the Elite Breakfast for my morning bloody mary or the evening Happy Hour from 5-7. They've found other things to do on the ship during those times.
I would go and get your morning mimosa at the Elite Breakfast, have a nice continental breakfast, and meet up with them at a later designated time.
Exactly why I asked about the Chicken Wings - they are a favorite of my dad's and I've never sought them out either.
And no, I'm not leaving my parents on a vacation I'm taking them on so I can go eat a muffin with the Elites or go to the crowded happy hour. I'd rather see my parents for the entire time we are on vacation together.

I'd like to think I'm a somewhat seasoned cruiser, but I've been asked 2 questions by my fellow cruisers that I can't seem to answer.
1. Can anyone recall chicken wings being available onboard?
2. Other than the elite breakfast (probably won't go since my cruising companions aren't elite) where is the best bar to get a morning mimosa?
3. Has anyone in a RS been able to get the butler to bring a mimosa using the premium beverage package? (i know mimosa delivery isn't included in room service, but maybe some butlers just bring it up anyway?)
Sailing the summit if that helps any!
Thanks!

During the day on board I found it to be jeans and more casual wear, but at night was normal dress code.

Since a lot of your questions have been answered, I'll chime in with
Favorite specialty restaurant - Qsine followed by murano and Tuscan grille
Place to hang out with a group - area around cellar masters. Or cafe al biaco. We were always able to get a table for 6 and hang out with each other.

Looking forward to our cruise on Sunday!

6146 is our cabin of choice! Huge bathroom, larger cabin space, and more than enough balcony.

This is highly variable. You could get a glass of wine for $7 or a glass for $20 depending on what you like. Cocktails are $8-$12 maybe, and beer $5 and up. Although with all of the new changes this could change by the time you are on board.
The only coffee included is the coffee available at the buffet or breakfast room service coffee. It's pretty terrible, but some don't mind it.

A SS is a pretty nice cabin, on S Class especially for the price, considering you do get the butler. Otherwise it is pretty much a junior suite.
Each Suite level comes with slightly different perks. Here is a quick summary of the new suite perk additional ammenities that are major changes (to me) include:
SS New suite dining room
CS Michaels (And new dining room)
RS Above, unlimited specialty dining, plus premium bev package, unlimited internet, and free mini bar in your room with beer, soda and water stocked daily
All other previous benefits stay in effect,
See this for actual details

Was ncie to see actual effective dates:
When does Suite Class take effect?
Suite Class will be rolled-out on each ship effective with the following sailing dates: CS- 4/4/15, EC- 4/12/15, EQ- 4/6/15, IN- 4/13/15,
ML- 4/9/15, RF- 4/4/15, SI- 4/5/15, SL- 4/3/15, SM - 4/4/14. Suite Class is not applicable on Celebrity Century or Celebrity Xpedition.
And this piece on how dining will work:
If Suite Class guests arrive to dine at the Suite Class exclusive restaurant and find it is full, will non-suite guest reservations be
cancelled to accommodate Suite Class guests?
There will be ample seating in the “private dining” venue to accommodate all Suite Class guests, as well as a limited number of additional
guests invited by Suite Class guests to dine with them. However, these invited guests will only be admitted with prior reservation on a
space-available basis and with a per-person, per-meal fee of $20 for breakfast (served from 7am), $35 for brunch (served from 10am)
and $50 for dinner (served from 6pm). These fees will be waived for invited non-suite guests 12 years of age and under.
We're looking forward to the RS on Summit on 4/4 and 4/11 with the new benefits :)
Happy sailing,
Jenna
Wow I'm surprised at the $50 upcharge.
Great info on this though, thanks for posting!

X is a great fit for us too. I'm not happy about the cuts and changes all of the time, but we work with it. I'm not a huge fan of the food, but I don't expect to be so that's ok.
We've also gone from booking sky suites to booking royal suites so I think that helps my attitude :)
I also 100% agree that our attitude when you board makes all the difference.

Is call the at now and see if she can change it for you.
The select dining usually fills up the allowed spaces pretty quickly so you might not be able to change on board.
Good luck!

I like the one about the goat. I'm sure you could keep it in your cabin if you agree to supply Blu with goat cheese. Then again, you might have to find someone to milk her. You'd have to take her to the casino for that, maybe?:D
Hahaha definitely get the goat

Celebrity has managed to make a change a full blown disaster.
Does anyone recently off the summit have any reports of what's going on for the premium and classic packages onboard?
Do we have any information on changes to the premium drinks?

Sorry about your fall! I hope you feel better soon.
Can you just contact the insurance company and explain what happened? They may not even need ship documentation so it doesn't hurt to find out!

Our first cruise was in a suite and there's just no going back from that! We have started increasing the size of our suites over time, which is a lot like people that start in a balcony and keep going up in category.
-
Check out the port of call board for your ports, you may find some really good ideas from other cruisers.
Also as someone else mentioned, your roll call is a great place to find excursions.
-
Yep formal nights in place. The ship is air conditioned so heat isn't a factor, I can't imagine them ever canceling for that.

We've been invited to the captains table on each of our last 4 cruises.
We do stay in suites and have noticed the penthouse tends to get an invite, but for us I think it's a combination of age (32/34)and personality.
We generally meet the captains club host the first day (we are elites) but I think meeting as many officers/ higher up crew members helps your chances.
Captains also have a say, on our 2nd captains table the captain mentioned how much better they did with selecting guests for his table that time. He was apparently unhappy the prior sailing he had older people at the table, my sailing there wasn't a person over 40 sitting with us.

Book now. Get the time and day you want.
When you get on board, confirm your reservation and then inquire about discounts. If you get a discount, and it's very likely you can, they will refund the difference to your on board account. Done it many, many times, no hassle at all.
I was going to say to wait, but this is great advice.
We went twice on our last cruise (14 night SE Asia). Both nights we got the day and time we wanted and the restaurant was not full to slightly full.
I loved Qsine, we had great experiences and a fantastic server that made it worth every penny.

Our overnight in Bali the tenders went all night, definitely less frequent overnight, but I'd guess most overnight ports are similar.
