  1. Hello, I am cruising on the Disney Magic in early October to Bermuda and am looking at the Wild West Kayak Excursion. Has anyone done this excursion? Would you recommend it has a fun family excursion? I have a 6, 10 & 12 year old. In the description it says for 5 and up, but also says recommended for 8 and up? I was wondering if anyone has taken children on this excursion and thinks it will be good for a 6 year old.

  2. Finally got through late this afternoon and booked family of 5 (2 adults + 3 children, 6,10,12) in family balcony room for 5 nights ny to Bermuda for $6720.

We have loved the 2 Disney cruises we have been on out of Florida. we have never been to Bermuda. we live in NY so love the idea of not having to fly to the port.

Anyone else book the Bermuda cruises? ever been to Bermuda? will kids enjoy it?

  3. I was on the Disney Magic cruise last week (4/24 - 5/1) and my 10 year old son ordered off the adult menu at several of the dinners. Sometimes the entire dinner, sometimes an appetizer off the adult menu and a dinner from the kids menu. It is no problem at all, the wait staff was incredible. My husband even ordered items from the kids menu, he loved those Mickey Ice cream bars! :)

  4. I just realized that I had not completed my online check in for our cruise that is in 2 weeks. When I completed it this morning all of the early port arrival times were unavailable so I had to take the 1:30-2:00. Does anyone know if they follow these times strictly? Is there any advantage to showing up earlier then the time you are assigned or are we pretty much stuck with boarding at that time at this point?

  5. They do have mini fridges.

But if you contact shoreside special needs requests 60 days https://wdpromedia.disney.go.com/media/wdpro-assets/dcl/finder/guest-services/guests-with-disabilities/SpecialServicesInformationForm.pdf before your cruise, they will also provide you with a specific medication refrigerator that will be set to keep your son's medications at the right temperature to keep them safe and stable.
