  1. My DW and I have 11 Celebrity cruises under our belt. All in the Caribbean. The MDR menus have pretty much been the same . We're currently booked on a cruise

from Venice in May 2022. Just wondering if the MDR menus on that cruise will be the same as the Caribbean cruises?

  2. my wife and I just snorkeled with wood wind for the 2nd time this last Thursday. This was our 2nd time snorkeling with woodwind. As before the snorkeling was great. The crew was also great. The one thing we found out is that the owner Dee was not on the boat. She had to fly back to the Netherlands a couple weeks ago for aggresive treat of stage 4 breast cancer. We all hope and pray she does well.

  3. keep watching prices. I was looking at prices from Chicago to San Juan for our cruise next January. Sunday morning I looked and found prices around $950 for 2 . 3 hours later I found the same non-stop flights on American for $750 for 2. I snatched those up right away. Later in the day I just happened to check again and the same flights were going for $900. It bogles the mind how prices change hourly.

  4. I always check prices as soon as dates open up. Just this week I was watching flights from Ord to Mia. For next February. Thursday ,flights opened up on American. 7am prices were $1200 pp r/t. Outrageous! I checked again at 11am. I got nonstop both ways for $ 188 pp. unbelievable. Checking again that evening costs were $399. It pays to just keep checking

  5. I nave found that booking airfare when bookings open is the best. Also look at booking 2 one way flights. I have done this and found savings. for our 2018 Feb. cruise I have booked 2 one way flights ORD - FLL and FLL - ORD for a total cost of $245 / pp. Prices have since gone up by $100 pp.

  6. My DW and I had SV last year on the Silhouette deck 7 and then last week on The Reflection deck 8. I can tell you for certain that the rooms are the same. The balconies are also the same. I didn't know what you meant by 3 walls. There are 2 glass walls on each side and the sliding door. Just so you know there isn't any covering over the balcony. You wil get full sun and if it rains really no protection. But the view is great. Enjoy

  7. I hope someone can maybe clarify for my son. My son and new wife want to go on a cruise on Celebrity for their delayed Honeymoon. He is an active duty Marine. I tried to let him know he would need a passport to take a cruise into a foregin country. He heard that active Military only need to use their Military ID card. Can someone clarify. Thanks

  8. my wife and I love this itinerary. We have been on it before. This date is spring break for my daughter and her husband so another date would not work. I still can't believe Celebrity won't change us. Compared to prices for that week on 2 other Celebrity ships, this was at least $200/pp cheaper. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

  9. What happened to the March 8th 2014 sailing of the Summit out of San Juan. I checked the other day and it was there. Now that I want to book it has disappeared off Celebrity's web site. Our friends are booked on it and have not heard if it has been cancelled.
