First thing I do once on board is find myself a Funship special. Goes down easily on my way to the food

I love d drink mo r on a cruise. Let's think for a moment....I don't have to work, drive, cook, clean or really do anything. So, yes I drink much more on a cruise than I do at home

Following. Going on the Dream in April. Balcony Room 8th Deck
So are we. Which week?
-
I loved zip lining over the pools, it was really cool. You pay one price for all day.
-
It is free for lunch, but an extra cost for dinner
-
If you could find a $50 drink you are able to have up to 15 of them. You are not limited about having top shelf as long as they don't exceed the fifty dollars each.

Thank you so much for your review, your writing style, your adult beverage style, your great out of this world personality and for getting me so geared up for our Dream cruise in only 131 days. You have given so much onsite to the ship that I feel like I have been on her already. Like many others, I would love to be on a cruise with you - you just want to have fun and share that with others.
Thank you

I second the Everglades tour. After you visit the Everglades they take you to your airport
-
Hope you get to feeling better soon. Have loved reading your review, thank you for doing so. We are sailing on the Dream in April and can't wait.

No you may not. Do I like the rule, no. But it is their program and it is quite clear in the information about Cheers that you can not use it on private islands.
-
159 days, 14 hours and 43 minutes, but who is counting?
-
As soon as I am on the ship I start using Cheers. On my last cruise it was mid week before anyone put a Cheers sticker on my card. You are in the system, I have never had an issue
-
All you can drink Cokes. Enjoy.
-
I didn't get a sticker until day four of my seven day cruise, but it didn't matter. It's in the system. I get my first drink as soon as I see my first waiter or bartender once on board.

Thank you for your review of your trip on the Dream. We will be on her in a short 178 days. I too liked how you pointed out what you liked and what was not as good as you wish. This gives us a balanced review and is much appreciated.

I asked for top shelf on most of our drinks. Much better plan than in the past. Between drinks I fit in several milkshakes. Next cruise I'm heading to the steakhouse bar just to see what they offer in the $40+ range.

Does cheers work in the dining room for dinner ? Or are the drinks you order in there a separate charge. Can't remember.

Yes it orks in the dining room.

The slides were good except the path is very rough. The zip lining was a ton of fun, my first time. You go right over the pool.
-
I had been trying to choose for a while with no options, but a couple of days ago the times appeared and I picked ours

Depends on the person, and then it depends on what that person is feeling moment to moment. Highly variable for some.
If you are worried about temps being too hot, then bring a small fan. Better to have it and not worry, then to find out you'll be uncomfortable without one.
I find discussions about temperatures, food, and port experiences to be highly subjective. To your own self be true!
Thank you so much for this post. I agree 100%. Do what you feel is right for you and don't worry about everyone else. I'd add the cheers plan too. Only you can say if it is worth it to you.

We love the Alchemy Bar. 2 drinks pre dinner, 1 or two after and a glass of wine or two with dinner pays for it. The rest of the day/evening are free drinks. Like others have said, we can try new or different drinks and if we don't like it, just toss it and move on to the next one.

I've never felt the need at all to have a fan, but again that's me.

The piano bar has a drink called the duet. It's a shot that is half Bailey's and half XO tequila. Smooth and delightful. Everyone should give it a try at least once
