  1. Just received news that this has now been chartered. So disappointed as we cancelled a Celebrity cruise to switch to this one. We all know it happens, but as I am such a planner it has just sent me into a tailspin.

We had this cruised booked and they called to cancel as well. Royal re-booked us for June 25th 2017 with the same price and also gave us a $200 on-board credit.

What was worse is that flights had opened up for June 11, and it is likely that some people would have already bought them before RCI admitted that the cruise was cancelled

I asked about this and she said if we were charged anything for changing our flights/hotel, they would refund that money as well. Doesn't matter if the flight/hotel was booked through them or not. I'm not 100% sure I trust that, but we hadn't booked yet so it's no worry to us.

  2. We're the sales people wearing masks during this robbery?

    SERIOUSLY! lol

This is only my personal knowledge. If others have seen other things, that's their report. This is mine. :)

Do you know what they were asking for the necklace? The lady at the store didn't remember the price

I forgot to say they had men's cuffs as well, but I didn't ask about them. When I told them I really wanted the necklace, the lady told me to purchase the dangly earrings and make 2 necklaces... lol.

    .

  3. Just off Enchantment this past weekend. Necklace was already sold, but they had both sets of ear rings. They said the boats are selling them as fast as they can get them, but they will be selling them on board the ships.

I didn't ask about the necklace, but the dangly earrings (on the left) were $995 and the regular earrings (on the right) were $695

The crown is about the size of my thumb nail

  4. Do they do the hibachi in front of you, or is it prepared in the back and then brought to your table?

You can do either. When you walk in, to the right are the hibachi grills/tables or to the left is regular sitting where they will bring the food out to you.

We were on Allure in November and did Izumi. I wouldn't do it again. It's extremely slow I suppose for the "experience" and took over an hour from sitting down until we had all our food in front of us. I had steak and chicken, the wife had chicken and I think our total bill was something like $85-$100. I don't remember the exact prices.

  5. I contacted Kay's in St, Maarten via email and was able to get the pendent pictured here for $365.00 including the chain. They have a store in the U.S. I believe in South Carolina.

It was listed on their sales invoice as:

"14K Yellow Gold Pendent with 20" Yellow Gold Chain (859215)" if that helps.

It arrived in perfect condition and I am very pleased!

    Good Luck!

Which one? The one with the 1 row of diamonds or the one full of diamonds?

  6. realized that the reservation system had deleted my BOGOHO discount that we had booked with.

This happened to me as well. Paid a Nov 2015 cruise in full last week, then last night I noticed a balance. My BOGOHO was deleted. After 20-25 minutes on the phone, they corrected it and resent a new email confirming paid in full.

My cruises for next year are all fine though...

  7. Deck - 9

    Cabin # - 729

Class – B1 Boardwalk View Stateroom with Balcony

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk - Boardwalk

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – No. During shows at the Aquatheater, you could hear everything. We were outside watching most of the shows, so it wasn't a problem for us.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– Boardwalk view balcony, THE best views of anything going on at the Aquatheater. This room is at the very back of the ship. Couldn't here anything going on at the rock climbing wall, just the shows at night. If you stay up for the night shows (late) you wouldn't mind the shows/music at night

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

    Was wind a problem? No

Any specific problems with this cabin? Noise from the Aquatheater, if you go to bed early. (no problem for us)

I liked the fact that no one was walking passed my door unless it was the people in the Aquatheater suite.

I do NOT like the closet near the bed setup. I would have preferred the couch near the closet, even though that would put the bed close to the balcony door.

    Any other comments?

Wish I were still on the ship :(
