Check to see if your airline allows the walking stick.I know that they require that a cane has to go in the overhead bin.

When you get to your cabin , you will find a booklet called fun a shore .
Its broken down by port , just pick a tour and go to the excursions deck ;

Get in touch with Carnivals Special Needs Department, one of our tablemates was on a special food plan the S.N.D. helped her. Every night one of the Hostess came to the table with the next days menu so she was able to work out her next nights meal. Also my D.W asked our waiter fop whole wheat or rye bread which they did not have the next night they had some for her

Book it as soon after you book your cruise.

We were on the Legend for an Alaskan Cruise to celebrate our 49th. went to the steakhouse on a Friday. IT WAS EMPTY. My only complete about the Steakhouse is that their coffee is the WORST I have ever had, was it instant or cheap junk ???

We also are looking at this tour , so we would like to hear what others who have taken the tour have to say

Check with your TA there is a lot of Insurance Companies out there, and they all have many costs and plans.

We did the reading bit ,went crazy not knowing what to do. So we picked a 7 day Carnival round trip out of Seattle next September. Another thing you have to look into is the airline flight times. Since some of them may not have nonstop flights from yourc

We are sailing on 10/5/14 and will be in cabin 7348 , we prefer any cabin on deck 7 since on most ships you have a deck between you and the noisy decks

My D.W and I prefer the MDR over the Lido. the food in the Lido is not as good or is left over from the MDR, besides a lot of people who eat on the Lido tend to over eat which is not healthy for anyone.

We have stayed in an inside, ocean view and on our last cruise we had our first balcony. IT was great one of us could take a nap the other one could sat on the balcony and read or listen to CD's. Balcony again on our next cruise. !!!

I would also like the same answer for Carnival cruiser's

What about the disabled passenger's? I have seen too many able bodied passengers rush to get on the elevators before a person in a wheelchair can, the same goes for those with other disabilities. That makes the time limit bad, it might even be against the ADA rules
-
I drove a medi-car for many years and found gravel to be very hard to to push a wheelchair on ; you might have to pull the wheelchair to make it easier on you.
-
I always take out the battery and put the phone in the safe. I'm on vacation so I do not need to talk to a telemarketer or somebody calling a wrong number.
-
I enjoy the lemonade with a lot of ice.

IMO they should get rid of La Romana D.R. one of the WORST places to visit
-
DW and I prefer to dine with other's. If friends are with we will sit with them; usualy at a large table so we all can meet new people.
-
We prefer deck7 on most ship's. Deck 6 insulates you from the noise from Deck 5's Entertainment areas and Deck 8 protects you from the noise on the Lido Deck.

SAS is the best way to go
