I've been twice! Pricey, but really fun. Lots of food & lots of drinks. You can use their LARGE hotel pool afterwards, and they'll still give you a ride back to the ship.
Thank you so much! [emoji41]

Has anyone attended the Salsa, Salsa and Margaritas tour through Carnival? Just wondering what other’s experiences may have been! Thanks in advance.

Definitely the Funship! It has rum, vodka, apricot brandy, amaretto and fruit punch. So good.

Does anyone know who the current CD is on Fantasy and is there a way to contact him/her prior to a cruise? My son is planning a proposal while onboard and we were hoping to have the crew and our fellow cruisers be a part of this special moment!!
Thanks in advance for any insight.
Mikey is the current cruise director. He's the best cruise director I've ever had. I know he has a Facebook page but you might also get a message to him through John Heald.

Good afternoon everyone!
My family and I are cruising over the Christmas holidays. I have cruised over Christmas before, but it was when I was much younger. I was hoping others who have cruised during this time could share their experiences. There will be a total of 4 adults and we are pretty festive! Do you decorate your room, take stockings, etc? Does the dining room have a special Christmas menu? Any information is very much appreciated!
Thanks!

I sailed on her this past week and had a great trip. I also sailed on her in November 2016. Yes she is old, but in great shape. The cruise director is fantastic. He hosts some really fun parties in the atrium. The staff was great and very accommodating.

Hello OP. I hate to "butt in" but I just wanted to say that I love the Fantasy. My family has sailed her many times. Yes, she's the oldest ship in the fleet but they have kept her looking great in my opinion. I have sailed larger Carnival ships and tend to enjoy them all. The Fantasy had some of the 2.0 upgrades last year and that added some great new options. To me, the Fantasy is a little quieter and doesn't seem so crowded as others. It is a great value and that's one reason we tend to sail her often....and it's a short drive for us.

I'm absolutely loving your review! I have read several of your other reviews and I have always enjoyed them. I love your writing style....everything flows so well! This review has me excited for my cruise next cruise in May.

Does anyone know if the Fantasy has refrigerators?

I believe only the suites do.

I sailed the Fantasy in November. Everything was pretty smooth. We did use the kiosk to pay for parking before checking in. I think next time we will prepay online due to lines at the kiosk. The terminal itself was congested but everything flowed smoothly.

Hello everyone. I sailed on the Fantasy in November. At that time, the two production shows were The Brits and Motor City. Does anyone know if they are still performing these two shows ? I have another cruise planned I'm just curious. Thanks!

Just thought I would add that this was offered on my recent Fantasy cruise as well. It was held in the majestic bar.

Hi Brianna! I was on this cruise as well with my family. I believe that I saw you and your dad a few times. I wish now that I would have introduced myself!

I tried just soy sauce on my last cruise and that's now my favorite. I'm not a fan of the sauces that are offered.

I was on deck 6 and do not remember a mailbox.

Using the punch card helps a bit until something else is available.

The only thing I saw on the Sunshine was a punch card so that you could get a free coffee after so many punches. I believe the 8th was free but not sure.

Golfadj-I really enjoyed it. It was much better than a piña colada to me.
Questions about the Dream
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I just got off of the Dream Sunday and it was great. Everywhere on the Lido will be open and Guys Pig and Anchor was also open on the first day. I believe cabins are ready at 1:30 if you are not platinum/diamond/faster to the fun. I absolutely loved the pasta bar and I really enjoyed the sandwiches too. I attended the 80s Pop show and it was pretty good.......the show that the cruise director does on the last sea day was fantastic.
