Thank you for taking the time to reply. However the link took me back to where I think I had posted the question in the first place.

We are due to cruise on the Queen Victoria and I am wondering if anyone can tell me who is the current captain on Cunard Queen Victoria? I have tried searching the Cunard website and elsewhere online but without success.

Let me rephrase my question. We have a Balc. Gty for the World Cruise. We are wondering whether anyone has had a bad experience being assigned to a balcony cabin that is noisy. If so, where was this cabin located and what was the source of the noise.

This is an interesting question and although our cabin on the QE was designated a Princess Grade suite 4093 it was very noisy on an intermittent basis and particularly alarming on the first night. As we were situated just above the boat deck initially I thought the noise was coming from there. When I made enquiries I was advised that it was something to do with the hydraulics for the lifeboats. Did seem rather churlish to complain but was also rather annoying to be kept awake at times.:cool:
