Just backwashed the pool- after completely opening up the filter bubble last week for a deep clean- and its pouring again. I think I need a french drain or something to keep the dirt/mud out of the pool. I may never get the pool clean

I've got some math for you that actually pays better than 80-90% on your dollar at the Casino.  Historically, the S&P 500 has a annual return of 10.26%. Contribute every year, build a capital base and watch your money grow. Heck if you want to gamble throw some Nasdaq ETFs in there with an annualized return of 13.85%. Maybe not sexy but once you build a capital base its pretty damn fun to watch it grow.

If you have kids I'd consider Moody Gardens-it has a huge pool and amusement park next door. Nice, big, well maintained  property which generally is pretty reasonable for Galveston  (but not on Gulf)

If you want traditional-the Galvez or Tremont.

Never stayed at Harbor House 

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort on the Beach which fit the bill for pool, fun nightclub on property and near a bunch of great restaurants. 

Hilton a step up from Holiday Inn. 

If you are interested in a Classic B & B I've been intriqued by the George Manor which is a large property-never pulled the trigger but reviews are pretty fantastic

Finally, if you find Galveston prices outrageous-and they sometimes can be-you might consider 4-5 star in Houston for half the price-but not necessarily a great deal if you don't have your own car and need transport

I don’t think I saw a ring on any finger, and she’s not UGLY, so I mean…if she exhibits the same

behavior again tommorow (my last slot play day) [and I can confirm she’s not with a guy] I may just impregnate her.
