We have two Viking Ocean cruises booked. I agree that the safest option is to wait for a vaccine. But there is a 5 minute Covid-19 test. I would feel safer if Viking tested all passengers on embarkation.

The description is confusing. Previously we have booked Giovanni’s for day 1 or 2, then the second bogo sometime during the cruise. On the Indy in May ‘19 they tried to get us to take the meals on day 1 & 2, it took a lot of argument for them to change.

Big ships moor on the river at Queensferry. They tender you ashore where there are buses waiting to take you into Edinburgh ( at a cost ). Alternatively walk up the hill path to the main road and catch the local bus or the train. Edinburgh is a great city with lots of history, take the green city tour bus by Waverley station for a great 2 hour tour.

There is a direct train from Southampton Central to Gatwick Airport. £5 taxi to the train station. It's quicker than driving.

Just tried to book a cruise on the Allure and asked if I could use the FCC. The UK travel agent told me, it cannot be applied, as the advertised cruise price already has a agent discount applied. Does this mean I can only use the FCC when booking through RCCL ?

Vouchers arrived today (12th January). The value if in English pounds. Does anyone know if I can use these vouchers when booking on the RRCL American website?
