I have visited the clinic on a couple different sailings with my husband in tow, never had anybody question it.

According to the thread about the MSC ship, more ships are encountering problems now.
Some folks really think this is a good time to buy?
I think it is, but I am only speaking for my own situation.

Thank you. Our problem is we have to get on the road ASAP and my husband is not very patient.
Then parking at the port is what you want, $17/a day.

Is anyone able to access cruise planner once signed in?
I keep getting "Bad Request"

living in florida for over 60 yrs. We don't let storms rule our lives. :d
exactly!

It tells me that my email/password is incorrect when I use my email address.
I had that same error message. Here's how I finally got in.
sign in with your email, when it says it's wrong select "forgot password"
this generates the system to email you a link to change your password.
Apparently this new incarnation requires a re-registration (they could have told us that).
Once I did that step I was able to sign in.

Has anyone e-mailed Michael Bayley and asked when we can expect it to be fixed? I imagine they are losing lots of income since you can't log in and book anything!

Try this link to get to the old page
Thanks!

Website won't let me sign in.
We're unable to complete your request, so please try again later.
I guess I'll call and raise heck

My TA always has me purchase ins at final payment.

I bring gatorade and water in a duffel on every cruise
-
It has been told to me that YOU can take the booking away from and TA. Not sure how that is accomplished but pretty sure it involves a call to RCI.
-
I think you all are lucky. I resent the fact that I can bring wine, which I don't drink, but can't bring water which I do drink. It doesn't make any sense to me.
I bring water and Gatorade in a duffel bag on every cruise and have never had it taken away.

You can cancel and get a full refund for the third passenger up until the final penalty phase of your reservation which would be 15 days prior to sailing. That close to sailing I very much doubt that they will have you change rooms. Others have posted about canceling a third and not having to switch rooms.
I think my TA has mentioned this tactic, never had a chance to try it though (yet).

Not the best advice. They may, or may not, take your room away if there are only 2 people in the room. I purposely book 3 people in an aft balcony even if it’s only my wife and I going on the cruise, otherwise your not going to get one. Why would you need to explain anything to the room steward either?

Good idea, I love aft balconies and may use this next sailing.

I got it and used it enough to qualify for the new account bonus of (I think) 30,000 points. Then I cancelled it as I prefer a better 2% cash back card that sweeps monthly into a savings account.
Do tell which bank offers this. Thanks.
-
Why would have to cancel it?
If you don't cancel it the account remains open, they will send you a replacement cards when your current one expires.
-
I use it to pay for the cruise and then turn the points into OBC, I have other cards that pay better points (2 or more) that I use for everyday purchases.

What ships are currently using this check in process and do you think Symphony will also be available ?

I am sailing on Adventure in April and they asked for photos during the check-in.

I have a wheeled duffel that I put a case of water in then use for dirty clothes. I have NEVER had it questioned. They should cancel their purchase IMO.

You can no longer contact the cruise line or use the cruise line's website for these actions:
Cancel the cruise
Get a price drop
Add/delete a guest from the cruise
Change between traditional and MTD dining
Add prepaid gratuities
Make payments
I'm sure there are more.
Of course, you can do all these things through the travel agent, assuming the agent is open for business (some don't work on weekends) and is responsive.
And if you are unhappy with a reservation you booked thru a TA you have the option of calling RCI and removing it from the TA's control and taking it over yourself.
Granted, there are arguments for both sides, we all have our own opinions and ways we like to do things.

I read that they recently started charging for the shuttle to the ship.
I might have paid, if we did it wasn't much. AND we left a car there, not sure they are still doing that.
Refund from canceled cruise

My March 6 cruise was cancelled because I tested positive, I have received a partial refund but still waiting for the rest. I just called again and was told it is "in the works" and that they are not following the 6-8 week timeframe (that they are telling everyone in this situation).
