  1. We are not allowed to actually list the company here (I think), which is why everyone on here just uses .bz or .com or whatever. Just do a search on goolge for cave tubing and put the .bz at the end. ;)

I don't know their rules about the pregnancy, but it's not really something you can just go and take pictures. You have to hike in the rain forest (crossing the actual river that you will end up at) and back in the forest again until you get all the way up stream where they start the tubing. Then you tube down the lazy type river into caves and such and end up back where you started at the crossing of the river. So, you wouldn't really be able to go alone and not tube to just take pictures. You can't just walk along side of the tubers or anything...a majority of the time is spent in the caves too, where you, on the outside, would not be able to see anything at all. :)

I see, sorry I'm pretty new to things still. But thank you, I was able to find what I was looking for. Your review was very helpful! We are going to the Western Caribbean in December on the Spirit and I'm getting very excited!

  2. I'm sorry if I missed it, can you list the link to the tubing company you used? Were they good at communicating with you prior to the cruise? I am pregnant and want to see if it is an excursion I can do or if I can go to just take pictures. You review is SO helpful. I appreciate it. It helps with the anxiety I have about our first NCL cruise and first time to all the ports, except Cozumel.

  3. My boyfriend and I just got engaged on the Crown Princess sailing 4/24-5/1. We both love cruising and I'm debating if we should get married on the ship.

Those of you who have gotten married on the ship, would you recommend it? I'm just worried that some of my family is going to be upset because they can't afford to come and see the wedding.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated! :)

I will be getting married this September on the Emerald at sea. We had the same problem with our family not being too happy about it and I was sick for months trying to decide: do we stay here and marry to make others happy? or get married where we want?

We choose a cruise because it is a lot cheaper for our guests because food and lodging is covered and we find that most people that really want to be a part of OUR big day will be there for US. We starting planning over a year our so there were no excuses. You need to do what you want because it is your day. There will always be complaining from people, but it needs to be your day!

  4. I am also getting married on Princess next year, thus far my experience with TWE has been fairly good! She generally responds to my e-mails within a few days and has been fairly helpful. The only problem I have had is concerning flowers, I am considering getting silk flowers and would like any opinions on that. I want blue hydrangeas but TWE says that is a special request and may become a problem. Any recommendations?

Also, I'd like to say that I do like to be in control, but I also know when to let go. I am a really organized planner and tend to write down and print every important thing I need. My mother is luckily the same way and I have appointed her to take care of things for me that day. I am not getting a cake or anything, so when it comes down to it, I don't think I am too concerned about most details. It's such a good idea to sit down with the coordinator when getting ready to board, I am getting married on embarkation day, so I hope it's not going to be too hard to speak to her.

I'm was worried about the flowers also so I ordered the flowers that comes with the package and plan to give them to the MOH. I've ordered real-touch silk flowers from Hibiscus Floral online, I'm scheduled to receive my flowers next week and I'm really excited to see them. Mark, the owner has been really nice to work with. I can let you know how they turn out when I get them if you'd like. (http://www.hibiscusflorals.com/)

  5. I'm so appreciative of all the posts and advice. I am so excited right now. I just booked the cruise and wedding so it is officially scheduled. Hope all goes as planned now. We will be sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale on the Ruby Princess leaving on Feb. 27th. Our actual wedding date will be on March 1st an at sea wedding hopefully on the deck w/ fantastic pictures.

    YEAH:D

I'm getting married at sea also, on the Emerald Princess so please let me know if you have any questions. So far I've turned in my initial paperwork and found emailing the TWE (wedding people) gets you a quicker response and you also have proof if needed later. I'm also sending out monthly newsletters to our guests (35) and will start on the welcome bags once the final payments are submitted. Good luck!
