  1. We have done the last two years on the Eclipse for Christmas. Celebrity does the holiday well. We didn't travel with children, but there were 450 onboard this year. Santa came to deliver gifts to the kids, and take pictures with the adults.

There was a holiday show, and a choir composed of guests and officers sang Christmas songs (though they handed out books with words for us all to sing a long).

The ship was decorated, the grand stairs in the atrium was used to display gingerbread houses of all sizes and even a windmill. They gradually started showing up in other places through the cruise.

We were in port Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But the ports were decorated as well, so it kept the holiday mood.

There were some holiday themed dishes... like eggnog tiramisu. Some others in the dining room too, but we didn't try any of them.

There was a split among guest on dress. Some dressed for the holiday (from minor to decked out) and others just dressed up.

This year the sailing included New Years Eve, and it was a great night too.

Last year we received a gift on Christmas from celebrity of a picture frame, this year we did not.
