There will be a price for doing this on the board at the port.
Found a picture of the board here on CC, one way taxi to San Gervasio is $80! last time we got a jeep to take us both around for $69 each which sounds like a better deal.

Thanks for the lobster note. We’ll have to think of it as an appetizer !

I was told the Classic beverage package would be approximately $60.00 per day per person
For our upcoming Caribbean cruise in 2 months:
$67.99 / per guest per day (20% OFF)PRE-CRUISE SAVINGS
$84.99 onboard

This time I only want to visit San Gervasio. Shall I just grab a taxi from the cruise port and make the driver wait at the park?

What about a place that sells the masks at a reasonable price?

There are showers in the Allure spa changing rooms. To get to those you first go past the main reception, go down the stairs then past the spa reception. So unless there is no one is at the desk or they are very busy it is unlikely you can sneak in there without them seeing you (and asking for you sea pass to see if you have purchased access).

Re the MDR food, taste is subjective but I found potion sizes tended to be less than before, on my Sep 24 cruise. The vegetarian stuffed mushroom was just one portabello with a thin layer of stuffing, nothing else. I had to add the fried chicken entree and that was two tiny pieces. Steak sizes were ok though.

Better to join the rollcall post for that cruise and ask there

It will be a mess on Sunday morning as there are at least 3 shops docking - Carnival, Princess and RCL. Uber will not be reliable unless you are first off the ship. But since you are not going to the airports, you may be able to use the local Galveston taxi services. Google those businesses and see if you can book in advance.

Are you saying if the person is 55 or more and we use them for a round trip, there is a discount, compared to their regular price?
Their website say there is a senior discount EXCEPT for a Sunday morning trip from the port.
With an additional $5 discount for Seniors (55+) and Children (10 & Under) when purchasing a round-trip ticket.
(Sunday Shuttles booked during our Prime Time hours of 9.00 A.M. , 10:00 A.M , and 11:00 A.M. from Galveston, to either airport, will be charged an additional $5 and discounts will not apply to the reservation, including senior and child.)

you might be stuck at the pier/airport waiting for a driver to take your fare or worse yet the Uber server is overloaded and you can't even get on to book.
We tried to book Uber after disembarking but after a while it canceled saying no drivers available. Wishing we had booked https://galvestonexpress.com - we read good things.
Since our flight was very late in the day we walked out of the port hoping to kill time at a restaurant. A car pulled up saying he’s an Uber driver and can take us there for $25 more than the going rate on the app which is already twice the normal rate. Took the chance and luckily he was good.

Is the Thermal suite worth it however? Are they nice facilities?
There are four heated ceramic loungers, two steam rooms and one dry sauna. Also some fancy showers like ice mist, waterfall. It can be relaxing for a day, ($35 on my cruise) but I personally don’t find the value to get it for the whole week ( hundred something dollars). The men’s change room has 4 showers (one is a large accessible one with a curtain, the others with frosted doors) and lockers. It’s next to the spa and the desk is right there so you can’t just waltz in without paying for the spa or a treatment.

Was on RCL Allure which has the thermal suite you have to pay for. Bought a pass for the last sea day, knowing it wasn’t conducive to conversations in the spa. But ran into a guy in the men’s change room who was quite chatty and we got to know each other a bit.

Back from Allure, no paper version in cabin (which is fine for me) but did see them by the desk

We stayed at an Airbnb 15 mins away on foot. But it was so hot and humid we took an Uber to drop us at the street and walked the rest of the way to the port since that portion is covered.

For Costa Maya I'm thinking of one of Royal's official excursions, because I'm thinking of Chacchoben and it has the long travel time.
Travel time to Chacchoben of 45 minutes is not much compared to the other two bigger ruins which are 1:30 each way. Was looking at that excursion and would definitely have gone with the cruise line’s official one, but now decided on Chacc so probably pick Native Choice.

Going to stay at the Moody Gardens hotel and looks like they have a cruise port shuttle for $20 per room. We are just two so maybe Lyft is cheaper

Looking at https://www.shoreexcursionsgroup.com/tour/roatan-land-sea-tour/carolandsea - it just says snorkel over a barrier reef; would that be West Bay?

The US side can't send the UK emails
Can you please clarify what that means
- they cannot send any emails because they are UK guests
- they cannot send to UK email addresses
- they cannot send UK information to the guests (can only send US info)
if they can get the US info then show it as proof to the UK RCL reps so they can get the relevant info?
