We were in Limon November 2018, on cruise, and had done tour a couple of years ago with Ricky Ricardo Tours and enjoyed it very much.  We were in Puntarenas last time, opposite coast, different sights but enjoyed both very much.

Ricky responded to emails quickly and answered all our questions before we booked tour.  He has comfortable, air conditioned vans, cold drinks for us, which we appreciated very much as it is always hot and humid.  My husband has limited mobility and they customized our private tour so he could also enjoy the tour.  They can book family tours, small groups, or larger groups at very reasonable prices much better than cruise line tours with loads of people on big buses.  Ricky can take you where the big buses can't go and he knows out of the way sights so you don't just see the touristy sights.  

We had stops for pictures, saw sloths, cayman, monkeys, iguanas on river boat tour.  Stopped at local fruit stand for sample, had handmade crafts also.  Stopped at Playa Bonita beach for delicious lunch.  Had time after lunch to take pictures.  They can customize tour so if you want time at beach that is an option.  We had tour of Limon.  Ricky always gets you back to port with time to spare.  Had time for stop at grocery store to pick up coffee at a good price.

Our last stop was near port, saw how cacao was processed into chocolate, cocoa products and had some yummy samples.  

Highly recommend Ricky Ricardo Tours for any tours in Costa Rica.  He is very knowledgeable and he and his team are very friendly.  Glad to see an old friend on this tour.   Thanks Ricky for another great tour.

We did tour with Ricky Ricardo Tours in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, November 2018.  We did tour with him in Puntarenas a couple of years ago and enjoyed it very much so booked with him again when we returned to Costa Rica on another cruise.  

The ports are on opposite coasts so a little different type tour, both very interesting.  Ricky has comfortable, air conditioned vans and provides cold drinks, it is very hot and humid all the time so we appreciated the drinks.  He is quick to reply to emails and answers all your questions.  My husband has mobility issues and they worked with us to make sure he would be able to enjoy the tour also.  We did private tour and Ricky customized the tour for our needs as we were limited somewhat with husbands issues but we had a very good tour.  You can book family tours or larger groups at very reasonable prices, much better than huge bus loads of people on cruise line tours.

Don't have any experience with those tour companies but we enjoyed our tour in Limon very much.

We were just in Puerto Limon November 22, had a very good tour with Ricky Ricardo tours that day.  He can customize for private tour which we did, or for larger groups at a very good price.  Much better price than cruise line and you aren't herded on a large bus with loads of people.  You arrive before large buses from cruise tours and Ricky takes you where the buses can't go so you get a better view of the sights.   Tours can be for larger families or you can book with a group.  He is quick to return emails and answer  all questions.  We had done tour with Ricky in Puntarenas on opposite coast a couple of years ago and enjoyed it very much so booked with his company in Limon on this cruise.

Stopped at shop close to port to see process of cacao being made in chocolate products with some tasty samples there.  A very good tour and highly recommend Ricky Ricardo Tours.  We were happy to see an old friend for our tour, very friendly team working with Ricky.
