Officially 20th October.
Have you seen any itineraries yet for 2025?

South America adventure 65 nights leaving 6 January 2025
Well we won’t want to that again. We did it in 2018, had it booked for 2021 which was cancelled and are booked on it for 2023 virtually same itinerary as 2018. Only booked it again as Garry missed quite a few ports due to illness.

No, sorry. Only the longer cruises as these are my main interest so the agent only sends me those.
do you know what Aurora is doing at the same time? -
Thanks. Just got the email.
How long before we will be able to see any itineraries?
thinking of World cruise 2025 if it’s on Aurora.

Thanks, do you still get a glass of fizz voucher on embarkation, to use at a sailaway as well, or does the embarkation lunch replace that for the top tier? We are still Mediterranean, but not far off promation 🙂
Yes you still get a voucher for glass of fizz as well as embarkation lunch.

We have just returned from Aurora and are top tier. No loyalty parties other than the priority boarding lunch, and the Peninsular luncheon which is not hosted. Voucher given for Celebration night drink and another in place of the Peninsular party.

I am on board and I am being very careful and spending most of my time on deck. We have not been going to any of the shows or inside entertainment. Eating on fixed sitting table for 2 and enjoying g the ports, beaches and sunshine during the day.
The admin leaves a lot to be desired but it is not only passengers succumbing but crew as well.
We are lucky and having a great cruise but feel sorry for those affected.
we enjoy every day as who knows if tomorrow will be the day we test positive.
on our way to Tortola now.

Thank you, I'm going to presume that it would also be a tight fit when the sofa bed is laid out too 🙂 Looks lovely but I think we will probably have to go up to superior deluxe to get the space.
The superior deluxe balcony cabins are exactly the same layout but with a balcony. We looked into some on changeover day and the only difference was the actual balcony.

We booked on it as soon as it was available. Are we disappointed yes of course we are. But p & O have offered a 25% cash refund plus extra onboard credit.
Would we rather have the original itinerary, yes we would but just to be able to get away for a month + from the awful British weather is a no brainer.
This cruise was sold out within hours of going on sale and as the price for 40 nights in the Caribbean was no more expensive than 2 weeks in the Med in the summer it was a bargain.
The downside is 3 weeks today we should have been boarding and now it is 4 weeks tomorrow.
the ports missed are La Corunna - no big loss except for the opportunity to stick up on cabin supplies. St Kitts - a bit of a disappointment but their Covid restrictions were stricter than others. Guadaloupe is a disappointment as we had never called there before but we expected that island to be taken off as no cruise ships have called there since Covid.St. Vincent I know ,lots of pax love this port but we really don’t. We find the taxi drivers very aggressive and the beaches worse than average.
Bonaire we have been there often and love the island and we had a trip booked there.
Tenerife has been replaced by Praia Vittoria which for me is the biggest disappointment. Not that I am desperate to go to Tenerife again but the fact that the Southerly route is far more passenger friendly keeping the sun and temperatures longer than the more Northerly and shorter route via the Azores.

Thanks Sharon. Looking forward to your next instalments.

We have also re regs with a TA for this cruise. We can book tomorrow. We have been on Aurora a number of times but did prefer Oriana.
Hope everyone gets what they want cabin wise.

We got ours back via TA direct into credit card account within 60 days.
she did say that newer refunds were being processed much quicker but there was still a back log fro. March and April cancellations due to a big black hole.- 1

We are waiting to hear about our November Caribbean cruise. We are now not expecting it to sail but we have nowhere to turn our deposit to as fully booked for next year and up to March 2022. We will pay our balance when due and request refund when they cancel it. According to our TA refunds are now being processed much quicker for the newer ones but a March/ April is still a problem due to a big black hole.

Ocean was our first P & O ship. The most amazing atrium.
such a shame but time to say goodbye.

As long as it's going somewhere with guaranteed sunshine then it will be OK for us. But I accept we are in the minority as we don't fly, and I certainly do not want to drive all the way to the Med sunshine.
Not on your own John. We don’t want to fly and I want winter heat and guaranteed sunshine.

We got an immediate refund from Holiday Inn. I was very impressed.

We use cruiseparksouthampton.co.uk. About 1 mike from port. They park your car under cover in their unit for duration of cruise. Private taxi to and from the port included in cost. Brilliant professional service at a lot less cost than CPS.
We have used them numerous times and wouldn’t now use anyone else.
e mail them at info@cruiseparksouthampton.co.uk for a quote.

We started using Cruisepark Southampton when looking for parking for the world cruise.
We have used them ever since. It is an indoor garage which takes approx 40 cars. They are less expensive than CPS, only about a mile from the port and they provide a taxi to and from the port in the price. No coming back to a dirty car full of seagull poo. We use them for shorter cruises as well as the longer winter ones.
