Why not send any comments about smoking to the president of Carnival. They are HAL's boss and may not know of the feelings of passengers.

Lincslady brings up a interesting subject. We have been to 2 ( one formal) parties and were served wine in stemless glasses. Is this a new trend?
What do you wine experts thing?

Proposed new rule.
Smokers must attend spa sessions on their products.

Bottom line on smoking policy. No change.

There is a profile of Craving for Travel in the New York Times travel section for Sunday Jan 19. The article talked about some of the sponsors but not Seabourn

On Thursday (Jan 9), Craving for Travel will open for a four week run at the Peter J. Sharp Theater on 42nd Street in NY.
It's an 85 minute, two actor comedy about travel agents catering to their client's whimsies and demands. "Travel agents are always asked to do the impossible, and this play shows how that is done, from finding the impossible rooms to making dreams come true" the producer said.
The producer, a local travel agent (Dallas), is putting up about 50% of the amount to open the show. The rest will come from a consortium of travel industry sponsors, including Four Seasons Hotels, Viking River Cruises, Sabre Travel Network and Seabourn.

I guess you will only receive one $400 credit on your next cruise. Can the others be held and used on your future cruises?
Also will each new passenger get the $ 400 on board credit?

Carnival Corp (CLL) will release their earnings tomorrow (Tuesday). It will be interesting to see what the spike in oil will do to their results.

White Oak, I found your comments interesting. On our last cruise (Crossing) we got consortium credit (instead of tour) plus $400 referral credit plus shareholder credit. Wife had fun in the shop.
