They cancelled ours for 11/10/17. Reason for cancellation waswster issues. I rented a condo through Airbnb

After three different hotels cancelled our reservations for November 10 - 12, 2017, we rented a condo through Airbnb. Host indicates that he has water and electricity, however the power system is very fragile and goes off periodically. At least we have a place to sleep.

Our December 2nd Comfort Inn Condado reservation was cancelled. They didn't notify me and it still showed on my Choice Hotels account as reserved. I called (for the 4th time) to confirm the reservation and that's when they told me.
They cancelled my 11/10/17 reservation too. I found out yesterday after I checked with them for the third time in as many weeks. We finally went with an Airbnb.

Comfort inn in Condado area cancelled our November 10th reservation. Not sure they would have let me know this soon if I hadn’t checked with them today. I went ahead and obtained accommodations through Airbnb.

After reading this board, I contacted Comfort Inn (Condado area) to check on my reservation for November 10th. They emailed me that, due to water issues, my reservation is now cancelled. I had been checking with them weekly to confirm our rooms. There is literally no more available hotels during that time. I finally booked an Airbnb. So frustrating.

We had a reservation at the Comfort Inn for the 27th, called today to confirm and they cancelled it due to the hotel being "not suitable". Not sure what happened since people have reported staying there with no issues last week, but if you are booked there I would definitely call.
Which Comfort Inn is this? I just called the Comfort Inn in the Condado area yesterday (10/23/17) and confirmed our reservation for November 10 through 12, 2017.

The Best Western in Condado area is up and operational. Don't know if they are taking new reservations or not. I had to e-mail them as I could not get through via telephone. email address is: 71023@hotel.bestwestern.com

We are staying at the Comfort Inn, Condado area pre-cruise November 10-12th. I talked with the hotel about a week ago and was told they are operating "as normally as possible". The website indicates that an energy fee of $5.00 per night will apply during our stay - I am thinking this means that they are operating via generator.

As gold status, we were permitted to have my adult daughter and her son tender in our group. That was 2 years ago - don't know if it has changed since then.

We will be platinum after our upcoming cruise in November, and I have been wondering if I really want to cruise NCL after this trip.
First, let me say that I am fairly easy to please, unless something is seriously wrong, I do not complain about things while I am vacationing. While the lack of lox and lobster tails doesn't bother me at all, I agree with you that the service and quality of food has declined since we first began cruising. I was especially disappointed with the customer service I received this past week when I called about the status of our ship sailing out of San Juan....total lack of concern on the representative's part.
I enjoy the entertainment on a cruise, however I am growing tired of NCL's shows. It doesn't seem as though they change them frequently. We have been seriously considering RCCL as an alternative.

Hyatt House cancelled my reservation for November 17th. The are not expecting to be open again until January. :(

We're on the same cruise and wondering what the chances are of sailing out of San Juan. Even if it is possible to get to the island, we also wonder about the status of hotel rooms. That said, I am taking the stance that I have absolutely no control and will roll with whatever.
Praying for those who have been affected by this horrible disaster.

We are scheduled to sail on the Dawn out of San Juan on November 12. Will be interesting to see what happens with this itinerary. I pray for those poor people who have likely list everything.

When we cruised in November Ariel was performing in Gatsby’s. I was thrilled as we had enjoyed his entertainment on the Dream way back in 2004.
