Good Morning Danish Viking----I have been reading your Wonderful Copenhagen 2018 edition with interest.

If you would be so kind to clarify or correct some of my thoughts. I have used your information and maps of Copenhagen , so here goes.

We are arriving at the airport on Friday 24th August , staying at Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade. Do we take the metro, or S tog, to the Central Train Station? Or is there a stop before the Central Station that is closer to the hotel?

I believe the hotel is 0.7km walk from the Central Train Station. Very walkable dragging suitcases. However if there are people in our group that would rather take a bus, what would the bus number be that we would take?

On Sunday we head to the ship, Oceankaj pier. Back to Central train station, take S tog to Norreport or Osterport station? Then bus 25 or 27? to the port. I understand travelling on Sunday will make a difference in what bus to catch.

We are staying at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port, the night before our cruise.

I understand there is a shopping mall across the street from the hotel that you can walk to.

Is there a store in the mall you can purchase wine?, and what other stores are located there?

Riga, Yes, buy the ship transfer, sold on board, goes on your sea pass account, but must go to guest services to purchase….$14.00 per person, round trip. (July 2015 price.)

Ship docks in an industrial area, no taxis were permitted in the area.

Shuttle takes you to the edge of the old town, drop off/pick up same location. No need to book an excursion.

Riga is easy to walk around, beautiful city, try the pastries, delicious.

We are arriving in Fredericia on aug 6/15 in port from 0800 hrs to 6;00 pm.

We are planning to take the the train from Fredericia to Kolding to view the Koldinghus Castle.

Questions

Would we be be able to take the train to Kolding and return to be on the ship before she sails?

Do you have the train times from Fredericia to Kolding, and return?

Is the castle worth visiting?

Last time we sailed from Tampa, I was able to purchase wine at Wine Design at Channelside. I understand this store is closed. Is that correct? Could you suggest where to buy wine between the airport and port. Thank you
