    • Typical  Trump, stealing all the credit for the  governments.
    • We  know the  truth.
    • Silverseas  must have paid  out  millions on  this exercise. They would  have paid  the overtime for the  20+  police  motorcyclists , bus, police  car in front, airport  staff,  charter flights, then when we  got to Sydney  a SS  Rep  met us with  a package ''breakfast'' and  domestic  Business class  tickets to  our  home  cities  and  assisted  us to thecheckin , the    buses , then  rang a day  later to  see if  we arrived safely.
    • Not all other  travel  suppliers  have been so  ethical  or  caring,
    • I  do hope  Roma  gets  home  OK and  am sure sh e will be looked after, as we were.

So sad one has to drag politics into this....please keep your biasis to yourself!

  2. I understand  the Pride of America is a US registered ship, and yes, they must adhere to US  regulations.

All I am saying ,in my opinion, is why go through all the nickel and dimeing when you can board a ship and not worry about a thing!

We did a Crystal Serenity Rome-Venice 7 day in September of this year and our fare was $2950,00/each.

This included all drinks, taxes, port charges and tips, plus we each had an onboard credit.

Just sayin'🚢  and YES I have a great Travel Agent

  3. I've finally gotten around to reading this thread....it was like re-living the great cruise all over again!

I traveled with 3 of my friends....Deborah, Chris and Karen and we had a a wonderful time. Met lots of amazing people and love the WIND!

Keep up the good work Silversea....you know how to do it right!

  4. I will be sailing the Caribbean on The Wind the end of March. We have booked an ATV Shore excursion in Samana.

I am wondering if anyone has done this tour before, and if so, are the seats on the vehicles side by side or tandem?

    Thanks!:)

  5. It's a sad commentary on NCL when you have to ask if milk is included.....any respectable cruise line would have it available for no extra charge. It should be available at all times. There's a lot to be said about "all inclusive" lines, which this certainly is not....they. nickel-and-dime ya to death.
