  1. Hello out there! We have a group of 22 going on this cruise and few more who are still deciding. This will be our second Halloween cruise, last Halloween we had our wedding cruise and it was a blast. Of course we costume on Halloween night but we decided that wasnt enough for our group. We made every night a theme night for our group of 36 and received so many compliments from the other guests and the crew that we are doing all new theme nights this year! If the gay cruise companies can do it...so can we!

If you are going on this Halloween cruise as well, it would be great to get to know you before we set sail!

  2. I have been told that a Halloween cruise is the best way to go if you love a fun time. Costumes are encouraged and there are deck parties for the contests.

For us, it will also be our wedding cruise. We have about 36 people in our group...friends, relatives and chosen family. Cruisers of all ages will be with us and we should be easy to pick out because we have decided to costume each and every evening for dinner.

If you are looking for fun, you wont have to look too hard because we will be matching our costumes! If you cant see becuase you have had one too many drinks... never fear, you will hear our group loud and proud!!

Come on over and say hello and we will gladly toast to a fun cruise!!!

  3. Thanks Jon, that makes me feel much better that I am not the only one with packing left to do!

Who needs sanity?? One of my favorite quotes from a childhood movie... "Have I gone mad? I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret...all the best people are!"

I have a bit of an OCD issue as well and Todd does not at all...packing is very stressful in our house too!

  4. I think the most formal you'll get out of me will be slacks and a tie...maybe a bowtie but not real sure about that.

You wont be seeing me in a speedo. Even if I had the body I would want a little left to the imagination good, bad or indifferent.

Speaking of going out in Galveston...any recommendations?

  5. The serenity deck hot tubs it will be then! We will surely outnumber the kanoodling couples so we can jump in and either make new friends or run them off because of my speedos. I may try the slide depending on how many drink of the days that I have!

Packing? You mean we have to pack?? Minor detail overlooked...maybe I will have time for that on Friday. We hit the road for Galveston at 6:00am on Saturday morning so I better get on the ball!

  6. Wow...I have missed a lot!!!

Jon, glad to hear that things are turning around for you. We will have an extra round of shots to make you a little less stressed!

Doug, sorry you couldn't bring it up a level but I wouldn't stop trying until Friday! You have to have something to do to pass the time anyway and what better than talking to a Carnival rep each day.

I like the earlier atrium bar meet up as I need extra time to get tanked before muster! Last cruise we were on the Triumph and I took my protein shake blender bottle full of vodka with me and had the best muster ever. I am trying to one up myself this time! And I am sure that we will find a perfect spot to do our sail away even if that means on the aft balcony deck 8!

Those fb people and all of their posts have been driving me insane!!! Who do you think the kids learn how to be so annoying from? At least there is the serenity deck!!!

  7. We may bring some wine with us but we usually just buy a bottle in the MDR for dinners. It will also depend on if we do the Cheers program. If we decide to Cheers then I doubt we would do any extra alcohol in carry on or direct to room delivery since my goal will be to use up all my 15 drinks each day.

  8. Single digits gentlemen...only 9 days until we set sail!!!

Next week would typically drag for me, but my company decided they should put the Oklahoma City office through an audit before I go on vacation. They have been running me like crazy so just one more reason to be looking forward to the 25th!!

I hope your luck has turned for the better Jon!

  9. I'd love to see the amazing pose you modeled for google Jon...keep checking online and when its posted let us know!

It's never about winning the competitions...its more about giving your friends something to laugh at you about for the rest of your life! We should do some shots and join the contest!!

  10. I'd be fine with the nude cruise...less to pack and less to wash when we got home!! But instead I will over pack in case I decide that I would rather wear blue than red or yellow or green or black...

If I can wear a toupee glued to my chest and not be disqualified then I would compete with you Doug! Don't they take the hairy chest men and make them dress up and dance though?!?

When in doubt, if you cant find me I will be somewhere that there is music whether it be the Piano Bar, Karaoke Lounge or Disco! Unless of course they happen to add an adult burlesque Thunder Down Under type show...then I'm front and center! I will strongly persuade anyone within arms length to join me wherever I go especially if you are the fun person who keeps drinking with me and reminding me that its all okay since we don't have to drive back to our room!

Definitely looking forward to meeting you guys!!!

  11. As hot natured as I am, there will be no coat. Slacks and a long sleeve button down for formal night is the most I can commit to without sweating all over the dinner table. I agree, I don't like to see shorts and t-shirts in the dining room but things are definitely changing and especially on the warmer weather cruises.

I don't think we will be doing the Meet and Greet. I have a hard enough time getting my group to dinner at the same time. Besides, I meet people all over the ship and cant be a conformist in black and yellow!

We will work on Mike and try to get him to the fun stuff but I get distracted by shiny things so if he is too stubborn I may abort that mission quickly.

I hope your story can live up to the one that I have created for you in my head!

  12. No need to be afraid...well maybe.

So just twelve days until cruising! Are you guys all ready to go? Just curious how early you start packing? I am definitely a last minute guy.

I probably need to go find me a couple more decent shirts for dinners. If I packed today it would be all tank tops and swim trunks. I guess I could pass up dinners and just have a liquid diet all week. Still considering that Cheers program.

  13. I just saw that his profile picture was an equality symbol so I messaged him an invite.

I can be the cruise director but I am not a very pretty Drag Queen and prefer not to be called Julie... Jules on the other hand will work and if you want to call me Big Jules :p (also BJ) then I can be okay with that for so many reasons.

Beads are fine with me! I didn't realize Jon was the growlr type...oh wait is that not what you meant?!?!

  14. As the Welcoming Committee (I am glad I found my part in this team :D) I have reached out to the Lubbock couple and one other from Austin. Hopefully they will come over and join us here so we can chat before we meet them on the ship.

Doug I think you have had a couple conversations on FB with the other James, the LJ to my BJ. His partner was scheduled to go with but unfortunately due to a school schedule change commitment, his partner is no longer able to go so he found a female friend of ours to go in his partners place.

  15. Well I made a quick browse through the G&L Roll Calls looking for the Glory and Vision of the Seas but did not see a roll call for either. With the search option not functioning, I could have over looked them but after 10 pages in I gave up.

Definitely looking forward to meeting you guys so the sooner we can make it to that Atrium Bar, the better!!

Still trying to decide on the Cheers program but I think we may just order a couple bottles of liquor to be sent to our room and mix up our own drinks their. My mind could change at least 20 more times between now and then though.

  16. Excellent! I am glad you'll be joining us at Mr Sanchos. All-inclusive may have just cost them double!!

Thanks for the port load info. I'm glad there will be some Florida cruise in Roatan with us...hopefully potential for additional eye candy. If I were smart enough to determine what the departure dates for Glory and Vision of the Seas cruises were then I would go over to their G&L Roll Calls and see if we can meet additional family at port.
