  1. I would like to say your photos were great. as someone who has cruised a lot which means different to many people, I think I am in the 40plus club, your tone seemed to me as negative towards carnival. Maybe your expectations are too high. To me a cruise is how you make it. Trust me I have been on several all inclusive cruises and I can find things wrong with them,. not sure if you had great time, but please pay four times what carnival charges and then write a review with your current mindset of perfection.

  2. I go with dinner in PS. So Cal traffic very unpredictable. Others have said 2 hrs to LB. that’s a dream if there are traffic problems. I say go to Long Beach. Longer drive sleep a little longer but no stress in the morning. The other way after fighting traffic checking in you first stop will be the bar to settle your nerves.

  3. I hate to start a negative response but my vacation starts when I drop off the bags and get ready to get on board. My complaint is not dropping bags going on but those who choose carrying them off. Departing for me is stressful but having folks carrying their bags in the conga line with all the attached items they purchased. Which slows down the line is my complaint.

  4. I checked with my credit cards, Visa only covers $3000.00 trip cancellation per person, and MasterCard covers accident, but I have to call and find out if that's only for trips that have started. My concern is if we cannot start our trip, due to an unforeseen illness, that I lose would lose my entire cost of the trip. The $800, that I paid for the insurance, covers me for everything, I have had claims 3 times, the last was in July when my SIL had a heart attack in Seattle prior and to us boarding the ship. I recouped my cruise, my Daughter and SIL cruise, and she was covered for her out of pocket, hospital, doctors, ambulance and change of airline tickets. I never travel without a good policy, you just neve know.

  5. i'm sorry sometimes they call the priority area Captains lounge, ect. Just asking for responses from folks who have been in the area/ lounge at the New Orleans port.. looking for how large it is. If it gets crowed with other priority folks, wedding parties, diamond, suite passengers

    thanks

  6. I know hotels have been beaten to death but can a local or past guest suggest either the Holiday or Hampton. We are flying in the afternoon from the west coast for a pre cruise night . Looking for a hotel with nice restaurants in walking distance. I am familiar with Bayside but not other areas of downtown.

  7. Going to Alaska and have to make daily contact with care providers back home. I know in port shouldn't be a problem however on seas days i will still need to contact. Currently have Verizon, i know can get a one month global upgrade, however is there a ship's cost to tie into their system. If there is how much?
