We are taking a week cruise from Tampa. We are wintering in Sarasota.nDoes anyone know of a car service to and from ?

Some parts of Illinois have been quite efficient. Our health department puts on the web the times available and you register. If you can't do it online then call to make an appointment. This week our 8 County area did 65 and over as the nursing homess have been completed. No waiting in line. Then shot 2 was scheduled 3 weeks away. Allare coming to a civic center. 5000 shots this past week. 3 more counties here this week and the beginning of teachers , bus drivers etc and day care workers. Our coubty here has 100000 people. Other counties likewise.

We have fond memories of sailing with her to Antarctica.

We did the amazon this February on Marin from Miami to Rio. Very warm trip, sat on veranda daily. All cabins full. We booked some private tours. They shut down buffets as we sailed. Wonderful cruise

We are on Jan22 cruise and received email yesterday that we go from terminal J

I just finished the great lakes for 16 days Chicago to New York via Erie Canal with Blount. The highlight was the Erie Canal and Hudson River. Saw the Victory at Mackinac Island. Beautiful ship but would not make it on the Erie Canal or Welland Canal. Blount was fine for me. I knew what I was getting when I booked and it was what I wanted.
Naturalist did a great job, food was excellent.

We will be aboard Crown Princess this summer. Prior to boarding we will spend 4 days in London. Does anyone know what hours the laundry opens. Will be traveling with messy children and will wash a lot. Thanks

Thank you. I was in contact with them for a map before of the area. Thus, I know the logistics. They were very helpfull. I do not know how it is in England but in the US some people are very keen on discovering their history. It is difficult for us as is so far away. Older people become interested in each generation. My mother was so 45 years ago. Each shares a tidbit .We. each get interested when we have time years later. The internet has been a godsend. I thank everyone who has helped me . I found a taxi company in St. Helens and as it gets closer will contact them for a fee for usage for 2 to 4 hours. It will be money well spent.
-
Thanks for all the information. Guess we will look for taxi company upon arrival at train station. I do know most of houses from 1800's are gone but want to get the feel of the street, etc. Church and cemetery still there. I had looked into Trip advisor but it is not very active. People here keep up and are very helpful. I hope 10 hours is doable to see 3 things as it is not too far from Liverpool. Thanks again. If you think of any other helpful tidbit, I :)will keep looking.

Thank you much for responses. Have wanted to do this for years. My grandpa and grandma sailed from Liverpool for the US. Have address where my grandma lived, my greats were buried in pauper graves, but have location. Know the street in St. HELENS Pocket Nook Street . Our time is short there but I think my sister and I can do it. This will be the best part of our trip. THANK YOU:)

Next July, 5 of us will take a Princess cruise with a stop in Liverpool. We have ancestors who came from St. HELENS a town about 10 miles away. We would like to have a driver with knowledge of area to take us from Liverpool so we can visit a couple of churches, a cemetery and a couple of house addresses. Does anyone know of a service that does that in that area. ?

You pay for each user name. User name is based on name and cabin and to use your paid internet package a family member would have to sign in as you.
So when my grand daughter is off her machine, I can sign on? We are in same cabin. Some ships allow 2 in cabin at same time. Seems like a lot of money.
-
You can use the same package but can connect only one device at a time.
So we do not have to get different users or passwords?

On Thursday leaving for Seattle for 2 week Zaandam cruise. If you purchase a cruise package, how many different kinds of machines can be hooked up. Grand daughter needs a machine for school studies and I would like to use one. Thanks

Curious as to which days did the seas seem the worst. Also, did you ever eat at pinnacle at lunch to know the foods then. Really enjoy this and feel ready for June 18th.
-
I will be aboard on Monday and gathering menus.
Would you also gather daily program to see type of entertainment. Leaving on June 18th
-
Holland uses it but how do you make certain you get the free one?
-
I have been following along in posts about Seattle services to Sea Tac. Is there a difference between what Hal offers for so much a bag and then what the port offers which looks like it supposedly free. I want to ensure my luggage gets
home but free sounds great too. My flight is at noon from Sea Tac.

Crew News"]I will on the Zaandam next month and will be doing a comprehensive daily review here on CC as well as a photo review on my website. Currently, I am collecting questions seeking answers."
Please if possible do the daily program. WE will be on mid June to July 2 with granddaughter and are trying to get the feel of what she will be wanting to do. She did not seem too interested in kids club.. IF you get the menus great also. We have several excursions planned. Going on floatplane in Homer for bear watching. That is our highlight. THANKS. We are on main deck DA category

We had 515 one time and it was nice. We did Voyages to Discovery to Antarctica . We liked both ships. There were more Brita on Discovery so dress was a bit more formal. I like the staff on Aegean Odyssey as they were not as stuffy as on Discovery. . Both ships maintained well. Food seemed similar. We have been on Odyssey for 2 back to back cruises. We also enjoyed Marco Polo 3 times.. :)
-
Just looking for reviews on this cruise ship as we are booked on a river cruise in September. Lyn
We too are booked on this. We are doing Danube and Octoberfest. I think YMT has booked entire ship.
-
I believe Voyages to Antiquity won best enrichment award. I would suggest you look there rather than Voyages of Discovery as you mentioned a couple of times.
-
We did the Discovery once to Antarctica and found it was very good. The shipboard entertainment was the same trio we had on the Marco Polo. I think enrichment depends upon where you are going. In the US. The Mississippi river ports do an excellent job. Overseas, I have found Voyages to Antiquity to be good. Some lecturers are better than others. I did Oceania and found they were not so good and some of the so called experts were really phony con people. What you should do is find the area you want to cruise to and look for available ships and compare them.

Yes, the birds up to Seville are fantastic. Glad you are going again. Phil and I were interested in the British Isles Tours. Have booked the one from London to Edinburgh. This one because it has an overnight in Liverpool. My grandmother was born in that region. I have the church name she was baptized in and the street address where she lived until leaving for the US in 1897. We are planning on going several days early in London to visit spots we missed before and doing the countryside. So we are booking our own air. Might spend a bit of time in Scotland also. This probably will be my last hurrah there as I have been many times and time is getting shorter in life and still much to see. Hope you have a great sailing. Many Odyssey members are doing the Iceland trip but have been there and the sailing was very rough. I do not want to do that again.
