  1. For those that have booked Atlantis as a cruise ship excursion, ours through Carnival seems a bit short. I’ve heard that it might be possible to stay later, but we would need to arrange a taxi to bring us back to port. That sounds fine to me, but I’m wondering if anyone can confirm this is possible.

  2. I just got back from a cruise on Splendor and did the $200 ship tour to the glacier. I found out that the ship can sometimes get close to the glacier and sometimes it can't even make the corner to catch a glimpse. It really depends on a lot of factors that are unpredictable from sailing to sailing. If it's anywhere near your budget I would suggest doing the tour. I didn't regret it and saw it as a one in a lifetime experience.

  3. I booked an interior guarantee this weekend for an upcoming Splendor cruise and I've got a quick question. I noticed that the cabin category was listed as "IS Interior".  I've seen 1A, 4A through 4H and so forth, but I can't find my cabin category listed anywhere. It may be because it's an unassigned guarantee, but I'm just curious.

  4. I've cruised from New Orleans before but this time I'm looking for a hotel option that has a kid friendly restaurant within easy walking distance. We won't get into town until 5pm or so the night before the cruise, so all we are looking for is a nice dinner without much effort. We're just looking for casual dining - no white tablecloths or dressing up.

  5. It's not just a problem for the unvaccinated.  On our next cruise on Harmony at the end of May there is almost nothing available for St. Thomas.  Simple things like a Meagan's Bay beach excursion has been sold out for months. I'm hoping they will add more but we are certainly looking at private excursions at this point.

  6. I’ll be in Cozumel from 8-4pm on a Saturday and I was considering spending the day at Paradise Beach. I noticed on their website that they are only open from 8-1pm on Saturday’s which is kind of a bummer. I probably couldn’t get there any earlier than 9am and it just doesn’t seem like enough time to me… especially when they charge the same price on Saturday as they do for the rest of the week. Has anyone done Paradise Beach on a Saturday and have any feedback?

  7. My group has seven people, which included two children. We all purchased a waterpark ticket, but I noticed that a couple of cabana's have come up for sale at a reasonable price. The only problem is the cabana only will work for 6 persons according to the Royal Caribbean website. I wonder if I could just cancel all of our waterpark tickets, except for one, and then book the cabana. I'm just not sure how to proceed.

  8. For those that have cruised out of Port Canaveral lately, I’m just wondering how efficient Uber/lift are to go from the airport to and from the cruise terminal. I was considering setting up transportation with one on the recommended shuttles, but if Ubers are abundant, I may just go that route.

I certainly understand why.  I get that.  And I apologize for referring to the number as a lot number and not as a reference number.  And actually, there is no letter for the reference number 195-100 (on the website or otherwise-I googled!) I am not asking them to stop selling the kits it has.  I am just asking them to sell the kits they have IN AN INFORMED MANNER SO AS TO NOT RIP OFF CONSUMERS!  This is what they are doing, and this is what is totally reprehensible about their company's behavior.  We shouldn't have to spend hours researching a medical product in order to buy it.  This is why they are marketing it in batches of six, and why they forbid you to sell it or give it to anyone else.  I majored in biology and minored in chemistry and understand all this.  But I will do my part to stand up to Emed and I will sue them for a consumer protection action as they are engaging in deceptive behavior.

I agree 100 %. It's taken me longer to research the expiration dates on the tests than it has to plan for my entire cruise. By the way, my cruise leaves on Jan 2, 2022 and my tests expire on 12/28/2021... so close... but not close enough. I just got off the phone with a rep from the company, and after I gave my explanation, I was put on hold for a supervisor. Word came back to me that I would be offered a refund but they could not send me a test with a longer expiration date. I asked when I would receive the refund and was told "someone will be contacting me". I'm not holding by breath on getting a call-back.

  10. My lot number is 140709C. When I look that number up on their website it gives me an expiration of 9/28/21, but states that the expiration has been extended until 12/28/21, or three months. The letter states that the expiration dates have been extended "up to 12 months" so I didn't get a lucky package that gave me the full 12 month period as I thought was promised.
