  1. We love anytime and never had more than a 5 minute wait. Last time we were seated at a booth and had the same waiter the whole time. We love the flexibility of eating when we're hungry and not at a set time. Plus we really don't like sitting with people we don't know just to then not like them and being stuck with them the rest of the cruise. I know that a lot of people meet great people and make long life friends but it doesn't always work that way and it sucks when it doesn't.

  2. While at Port in Cozumel, we went to Margarita Ville pretty close by where we docked. Me and my family got the Volcano Nachos and man were they ever good!! It was the best nachos I've ever had.. Probably one of the best meals I've ever had!! To this day we still talk about those nachos. If ever at Margarita Ville, get the Volcano Nachos! :)

I 100% agree they are the best Nacho's ever!

  3. Well I'm going to think "positive," that the food will be good, when we get on the Splendor. :) I'm sure there will be SOMETHING that we will find that we like to eat there.

Since I am a "cookie monster," is there a place where I can get some cookies FREE, other than the buffet on the Lido deck? In otherwords, is there any other places that have cookies/sweets that we don't have to pay for?

You can get free cookies from room service and sweet spot.

  4. Other than my sister no one else in my life has ever cruised before, so they don't understand my cruise obsession. So I get the sarcastic, "so what cruise are you going on this year"? So now other than my hubby and our 9 year old son sometimes my sister and of course here on CC I don't speak of our vacations to anyone unless I am asked a specific question without the sarcasm added. And yes I have a very hard time not talking about because I am so excited I want to scream I'm going to Hawaii for 15 days and we are doing this and that LOL.

  5. I'm with you, cruznjan! We will go on our first ever cruise in August and I'm so excited I can't stand it! I've already spent hours here on the forums, learning everything I can, on the Princess website, not to mention I am well on my way to having the deck maps memorized! I think I'm a little obsessed. 6. Haven't found them in Michigan either.

I know that our Krogers has them. I live in Oakland County not sure what part of MI you live in but if you have a Krogers check there. We don't sail until Nov. so I am going to starting buying them every pay day now so that I have a good OBC and not have to worry about it in Nov.

  7. Which cruise line?

We just came beck from an Alaskan cruise tour with HAL. Although the cruise and land tour were breathtaking, the ship was clean, and the staff was very friendly, the demographic of the boat was too "old" for us. It seemed most were 60+. We are in our 40's and really enjoy the varying activities (trivia, nightclubs, etc.) that we get on Carnival. We are platinum cruisers. We want to do the Hawaiian islands and want to find the cruise line that will fit us best when we are not on land. We aren't wild partiers, but we do like to be active in the fun on board. Suggestions?

We are going November 2015 on Carnival. We are also in our 40's. We choose them due to the 15 day itenerary with so many sea days. We think of it like this, we cruise because we love sea days and really only need to get a taste of the islands we visit, if we don't get to do everything in one trip than we can always go back. In Hawaii the only one thing that is a must for us is Pearl Harbor which we will get to do everything else wil be an added bonus. No matter what cruise line you go on You will have a great time and get to see one of America's most beautiful places.

  8. My DH and I chose the hawaiian 15 day cruise due to the fact that we would get a taste of the Islands and have so many wonderful relaxing sea days. If we wanted a port intensive itinerary, than we would skip the cruise and just vacation in Hawaii. By the way to OP I love your report and hope that when you get back you will also write a trip report.
