Cruise ships into Oban anchor in Patterson’s Inlet and tender ashore into Golden Bay, it is usually a sheltered spot, I can’t remember any ships missing Oban in the last few years, this cruise season there are around a dozen ships due to stop at Stewart Island.

Every flight we have taken to the USA and there have been many always leave at night so if this is the case for you too, you can leave the ship as late as you are able 😃

The drinks packages can be found under gifts indulgences and spa, and not everyone in the same cabin has to buy the same package anymore.

The alert group is very accurate, it's used by locals who watch whatever it is that you watch and then let others know what is going on lol

Then on the other group photos are posted, there are some awesome images posted on there, worth the join just to check them out [emoji3]

The Aurora Australis has been quite active recently, the last was April 17 before that April 13, I am at the bottom of the South Island of NZ and we see it resonably often, weather permitting of course.

Flight medic is right they will know on the day which Bay you will be tendering from, 3 weeks ago we were anchored in Cooks Bay [emoji2]

No sorry sammyboots we only got home on Saturday, too much to catch up on around home for the next wee while :-)

No trouble at all on the ship or when we stayed ashore in Papeete or Moorea both on the sea front but when we did an excursion inland there were plenty!

We tipped for our excursions although I'm not sure it was expected the receiver always looked surprised and were most grateful :-)

We have daylight till 10/ 10.30pm late December and January at the bottom of the South Island [emoji3]

We fly PE on Air New Zealand if they have the new PE seats, they have heaps of room and are very comfortable, nearly as good as business........nearly :-)

As has already been said top deck or anywhere where you can get a 360 degree view, although the ship will come into the sound and then need to go back out the same way its such a magnificent sight you need to see all of it and not just one side at a time :-)
