Made a payment towards our cruise using AARP gift card. How long before it is posted lowering the total amount left on your cruise?

Just used AARP gift cards this weekend, we purchase 4 and had to call Carnival to validate, make sure you save the card number and pin. :cool:

We are flying into MIA the day before our cruise, we usually stay in a hotel by the port and buy FTF, on this cruise (Splendor 14 Jan) no FTF So we are thinking of staying at the airport hotel and walking over in the AM and do the airport check-in. Anyone ever did this?
